Fraud
Hello, I am pretty fed up with the lack of quality your facility has to offer. I have been dealing with multiple issues at the Denton location for about a year now and I would like for it to STOP!!! First I went in to get micro treatment on my lower legs (cecilia) sold me a bogus package. The micro derma damaged my legs so yall offered to give me photo facial to remove the damage your facility caused to my legs. The scaring has NOT disappeared and half of the time I can not get in for an appointment. I went in today for my appointment at 7om but the lady was falling behind schedule and it soon became 7:20 and the next appointment for 7:30 came in. So I volunteered to go run an errand real quick and come back in about 20-30 minutes because I knew my treatment would take longer then the guy that walked in. I clarified with the lady working if that would be ok and she said it would be fine and she was going to stay late for me since she was running behind schedule. When I returned I was sitting in the parking lot and she let the guy out then locked the door. I sat in my car and kept calling till someone picked up the phone and all she had to say was that the alarm was about to be set and she wasn’t going to have time to see me. I think the customer service at your facility stinks I have not had any positive experience with the staff at this place. I want my MONEY back for the 4x. I was ripped off by your team and I will continue to complain until I get satisfying results. I would love to walk away from your treatment center if and only if I get my MONEY BACK!!! I will once again report this issue to the BBB and take it up with my lawyer since it seems that I can never get my treatments during their scheduled times!

Run while you still can!!!
I had supposidly won $400 gift certificate for hair removal everything was over priced and I still had to come out of pocket. I wanted to do it at first and she smooth talked me into giving her my debit card so she could see how much I qualified for. Then she said I qualified for a loan of $10, 000 she told me I could do my upper lip but I told her I didn't want to do it now. She gave me papers and asked me to sign saying she had already requested $320 for my upper lip and and there was no turning back!!! I hadn't even said yes!! She gave me papers to sign and said the paper stated that If no treatment were done I would get my money back. So I said ok then I will signed once I got home i notice in fine print that you must write a letter to the corprate office and request to get money back minus a 10% adminstrative fee. They have yet to call me back after I sent the refund request. I still owe $320 and 30 bucks for the administration fee!!! an nothing has even been preformed! they are scammers!!

No Refund - Lied to by Manager
I was contacted my American Laser Centers informing me of a contest for free services that I won. I spoke to a representative about the amount and was conveniently given additional money if I made the appointment for a consultation quickly. I made the appointment and attended the consultation at their Lincoln Park facility on Clark Street in Century Shopping Center. I met with the manager Julie who gave me all the reasons why American Laser Center was so great. I decided on a treatment after being bullied to pick something right away because prices change constantly. Julie offered me "pre-approval" for a finance plan to pay for the $750 treatment over 6 months and assured me that I would NOT BE CHARGED FOR ANYTHING UNTIL I RECEIVED SERVICES. After being approved for financing, I told her that I had leave and wanted to take any other forms that needed to be signed with me and that I would return them when I came for my first appointment. She then proceeded to give me the forms and told me to sign and I could look them over afterwards. I did so and left. After thinking it over, I wanted to change the area of treatment and tried to contact Julie the next day. She was unavailable and the representative told me that she would inform Julie to call me back. After another call the next day for Julie and no return call, my frustration began. Three days after the appointment, I received a bill for $750 for my American Laser Services. I tried to contact Julie againg, to no avail. I contacted customer service and left a message with a supervisor - no return call.
I finally put in a dispute the medical biller for the full amount of the services b/c no one would return my calls or help me at American Laser. Although, one of the forms mentioned an "Administrative Fee" for cancellation, I do not feel I should have to pay it b/c I did not initially want the services cancelled - no one called me back, Julie told me that I would not be charged if I didn't have anything done and did not tell me there was an "Administrative Fee" as she rushed me through signing their forms, Illinois has a "Lemon Law" and gives consumers the right to cancel/return goods/services if they feel mislead or lied to.
I subsequently received a partial refund less the "Administrative Fee". American Laser Centers has terrible customer-service-three different representatives that I was able to get a hold of after disputing the charges told me that I would receive a full refund, yet these promises are conveniently left out on the notes in my account. One of the reps actually told me that a refund for the full amount was processed the day after I had my consultation. No record of this can now be found by American Laser.
Julie no longer works at the location that I had my consultation at and cannot confirm what she told me (LIED TO ME ABOUT). The only person that seemed the least bit concerned about charging me for something that I never received is the current manager, although she cannot help.

rip off
this place SUCKS! The people that work there are like used car dealers; but worse. do not go to american laser in columbia maryland next to columbia mall. do not go to american laser anywhere in maryland. its a scam and complete rip off.
save your money and get a wax; laser hair removal does not work;
they tried to get a 17 year girl to get face treatment that middleaged women get.

services received
i was put on several machines with in 4 year period nothing worked, so when they get this new machine in, it worked for me until they got a complaint and because of my skin type they had to take me off of it. now i am back where i started.
not impressed with results been going to the center for 4 years and i am really upset about the results. i was asked to have 5 days of hair growth upon returning to take pictures.one of the techs told me i should get my money back because the treatment didn't appear to work . then i get this phone call telling me that its nothing that they could do because i had been going there too long. i spent too much money not to get good results.

bad service all around
I have gone to the place in Denver and have never been so upset. On there web site they state that it is pain free, yes on the neck it is but the face wow it its like getting poked by a nail and then some one comes and burns the hole and then they forgot to give me the lotion. My first 6 appointments for a week, a full week my face was red with pimples and I have never had that problem. People at my job make fun of me ever time I’m done with a operation It looks like someone beat me up or some one took a razor after me. Face hurts for a week after as well. So I go in for more treatments after the 6th one and still I have to shave every day. So I’m basically paying $ 3700 to have some one burn my face and then it does not even work on top of it and also I have to have a red face for a week after the procedure. So I have been trying to get a refund and that has been a nightmare. On May 14th I called to ask for a refund, I went down there they took pictures and stated they would submit to the doctors and they would call in 7 to 10 weeks. well 12 weeks went by and no one called so I called 3 different days and finally I got through on August 13th Denver management stated that they need more evidence I sent them pictures as well So 12 weeks go by and I have to call them again and they stated that your request was never sent in. So then this new person states she will submit it and it will take 1 to 2 weeks so I call again and they state nothing has came in and then 4 hours later some one calls from Denver and says its been denied. I don’t think this ever got through to a doctor. And How do I get a refund, Do I take them to small claims court on this?

Erroneous and Dishonest information to lure me to purchase
I have no issue with the employees at the Novi location as they are all very hard working and wonderful people, but it is their management who are dishonest and make statements which are false.
This company has an employee who is now a Regional Sales Manager that sold me two packages by making untrue statements, which, if I would of known at the time, I would of never been their client. Statements were made by this employee who now conveniently does not have an office telephone number that their Novi office is allowed to give out. I have never heard of anything so unprofessional and unethical about a someone who is a salesperson that sells packages and after they sell it, are unreachable.
These were erroneous statements that were made solely to get both sales. In order to procure the sale for her company, this employee kept reassuring me not to worry about the guarantee if the results are not right which they certainly were not. I am taking serious issue with this as it is very disturbing to me and professionally and ethically not right. I have purchased 3 packages with American Laser Center. When I was contemplating on what company to go with and speaking with people in the industry I decided to go with American Laser Center because this employee made it very clear to me that if the guarantee is up and the hair is not gone to my satisfaction that she will make sure that it will be taken care of beyond the guarantee. Because of her words and confirming this with me verbally I decided to purchase the first package for my t-shirt- back. Before I gave this employee who was calling me trying to get the sale and using erroneous tactics to reel me in she confirmed verbally to me if I purchase this that she will stand by her word. She said that she means what she has stated that if the guarantee expires and the results were not as expected that she will stand by her words.
Professionalism and honesty is what we look for as a consumer and this person has no respect for that or her clients, obviously. All that was wanted was my credit card # with false verbal statements to procure a sale.
I am a very honest and upfront person who always treats people the way I want to be treated and the sales tactics of this individual is unprofessional, wrong and purely unethical. I still am on my guarantee on my beard line which I will take until the 3 year guarantee expires, but I am going to do everything I can to alert consumers and government agencies on the tactics that this company's employee has used on me to procure their first two sales from me. This employee was well aware as I told her my concerns that if she did not tell me not tow worry about the guarantee if the hair is not gone that she will make sure it would be honored. Its too bad that this employee put the sale before honesty.
Signed contracts surely do mean something, but verbal statements that mislead the consumer are wrong and if I would of known this from the beginning I would of not purchased these plans from this company and happily gone someplace else.
This employee Gayle Wolman refuses to acknowledge or return calls. I would appreciate any help very much as I am very actively pursuing this.

DECEPTIVE HORRIBLE PEOPLE
DO NOT EVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY USE DECEPTIVE MARKETING STRATEGIES SUCH AS TELLING YOU THAT YOU WON A GIFT CERTIFICATE FOR $300-$500 FOR SERVICES. THIS IS A TRAP.
NOT ONLY ARE THEY LIARS, THEY ARE DANGEROUS AND UNLICENSED PEOPLE DOING PROCEDURES THEY HAVE NOT RECEIVED PROPER TRAINING TO DO.
WARNING !!! STAY AWAY!!!
I HAVE FILED MY COMPLAINT WITH THE BBB AND I URGE ALL THAT HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF THIS TO DO SO AS WELL.

Customer Service and Refund
After I realized that I was getting ripped off I decided to ask for a refund before my first treatment. They said that the manager was going to call me to get my credit card information. She never called me. I left 6 messages before I decided to call the corporate office. I called the corporate office and couldn't get through. Their hold times are 30 minutes!!! I kept getting the voicemail for the corporate manager and she never called me back. I left 4 messages and finally had to threaten to call the CEO when they finally connect me to her. It has been 8 weeks and I haven't recieved my refund yet.

burn scars
I have been a client of American Laser Center for 3 years and nowhere close to seeing any results! The only thing it did was scar my legs permanently! Not too mention the ridiculous price I paid. I think the public should be more aware of the consequences and the truth about laser hair removal. I have called the office manager numerous times and left messages but no one has responded. The last time I went in there was to take pictures to supposedly send to corporate but no one has bothered to keep me posted and follow up and this was over a month ago! They are the most unprofessional organization ever, and I have never known a company to change managers and have such a high employee turn around! Its crazy, they need to be shut down!
