SCAM!
This company is a complete scam!
They used manipulative, pushy sales tactics to make me sign a contract with them.
They refuse to give me a refund even for all the services I have NOT rendered. I only went for ONE laser hair removal treatment. I was disappointing, because the treatment was extremely painful, and ineffective! I asked for a refund for the remaining treatments, while fully willing to pay for the first treatment that I received (even though it was completely ineffective and a total rip-off), and they have refused.
I have contacted their corporate office and their legal department. They are incredibly rude, and refuse to compromise in any way.

services not completed
I purchased a laser removal package for my face and stomach. I paid over $2000 for the services. At first everything seemed to be okay. I went for my treatments when scheduled for about a year. I didn't really notice a difference in the hair growth because I still had to shave between treatments. When this center received a "new" machine, I was treated with that one. This machine left burn marks on my stomach and neck. I had white patches on my stomach from the burns and I am African-American. I contacted ALC and they took pictures and offered me free microdermabrasion treatments to help get the color back. After my burned areas returned to normal color, I was suppose to restart my laser treatments. The computer was down for scheduling so I was supposed to be contacted about making my next appointment. I never was. Every time I called the office, the voicemail picked up. I left messages and never received a call back. To this day I still have not continued my treatment.

deceptive company practices
WARNING!! Consumers really need to be aware that this company is one to stay away from. They go through technicians like water! Sadly, they don't treat or train their techs very well and do not provide them with all of the proper equipment to perform the treatments safely. I am absolutley shocked at the way customers are handled by this company. Consumers need to be aware that the cellulite reduction treatments are a very painful and very expensive joke! I see no improvement in my cellulite problems, and after reading other complaints, I can see that I am not alone in this regard.
Their customer service is absolutely horrible! After my clinic closed up shop, I am still trying to get a refund on the unused portion of my package! What an unscrupulous company!

Total scam, warranty is a joke
I had problems with this company from the moment I first started going there. The managers were terrible. One told me that sometimes burns can happen and there is nothing they can do about it. The turnover rate is so high that I never had the same person doing my treatments. One manager told me that my legs were too tan to do the treatments so they would suspend my account until my legs were less tan. Well now that my "so called" warranty is over and they owe me at least 3 treatments on my legs and they will not perform them. I was told that supposedly the manager that told me that was wrong (of course she is no longer working there!) I still have hair on my legs and bikini area. It was a total waste of money! I know other people who have gone to other treatment places and have had great results. The techs at American Laser didn't know what they were doing half the time! Some were not using the correct settings on me which made going to that session a complete waste of time. One manager said no sun exposure 2 weeks before and now I was turned away because apparently no sun exposure for a month. I live in Arizona it makes it a little hard to wear pants in 100 degree weather. If they would have told me that sun exposure would void out my warranty I probably would not have paid to have this done. They are extremely unprofessional. They have no clue what is going on. The managers are as incompetent as the techs. I have seen no hair reduction at all on my upper legs because my hair is too thin. Of course they didn't tell me that when they were taking my money. BEWARE!!! This place is horrible and a complete waste of money. Imagine going there for 2 years, still having hair on my legs and bikini area and spending well over $5000 and being treated like crap by unprofessional staff and managers. The worse part is I have a burn on my bikini area and the only response I have gotten is that can happen. My husband went somewhere else after I started at American. They performed different tests to ensure his safety. After 6 treatments he has seen much better reduction than I have!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! AMERICAN LASER CENTER IS A COMPLETE RIP OFF AND MORE THAN LIKELY YOU WILL HAVE A NEW, UNTRAINED TECH PERFORMING LASER ON YOUR BODY. THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER GREAT OPTIONS IN TUCSON!!!

BAD RESULTS
Please check out other businesses that offer the service you are looking for. Do not lock yourself into their rip-off packages and be rushed through every treatment. I had laser hair removal done and everytime I went in there was a different girl doing it and I felt like I was rushed through and am so so sorry I wasted my money on them. I have been to other places and everyone I have talked to has met someone with the same wasted experience.
I would recommend they open up a drive through window.

DONT WASTE YOUR $$ GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
1) They only offer "package" prices, and by the time they price it up, then give you "discounts", its NOT A GOOD DEAL and they will not spend quality time doing your treatments.
2) You are always RUSHED through treatments
3) The Laser hair removal didn't produce the results they advertise
4) I had a Microderm done, and it was so rushed i didn't feel like it worked- and actually had to go home and wash my face because it felt dirty.
5) Every appointment you get a different person
6) MAKE NOTE THAT THEY WILL TAKE A PICTURE OF YOU EVERY VISIT TO KEEP ON FILE!

SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!
I too, was an employee at American Laser Centers. I have to agree with all the complaints listed. I am embarrassed to say I worked for such a scamming company! I feel so bad for all the patients who have spent hard earned money to have procedures done that, in the end, do not work. They don't work because Rich Morgan has those Syneron lasers @ less than full strength. Think about it...Why can people go elsewhere and get their bikini, face underarms, whatever, treated and be hair free in 6 to 8 treatments and after 3 to 4 years of treatments with American Laser people still have hair. Also, they sell to people that are not candidates for all treatments. Everyone says working for a corporation is difficult and you get treated like you don't matter. Well this is an understatement with this company. Rich Morgan and his groupies (upper management) treat everyone like crap and that goes for the patients as well. All they care about is taking peoples money. I have never in my life worked for such a horrible company! Although I worked for this company I want to say I was never a part of this company. I like so many, needed a job and the health insurance. Fortunately I was a technician and not a manager who had to sell. I never pushed sales I was too focused on trying to get patients results. I believe in Karma so I believe those at the top will get what they deserve. I don't know how they sleep at night.

Hair Removal
I started hair removal treatment in March of 2008 and was told that this procedure would removed my facial hair and it would not return. I was given a two year granatee, but what I didn't realize was that going on the two years I would still have just as much facial hair as I had when I started going in the first place. They charge you upfront and then give you crappy result. I am so unhappy with my result and feel like I have beeen robbed. I guess I should have read their reviews before I used their services, but I was just so sick of being a women and growing a beard, not cute...

Unproffisional
No business process. I called the first time and they ask me in- the second time, I scheduled an appt for treatment. I'm there, they inform me about testing. The RN tells the receptionist, it is the protocol we should follow. The manager says so we would now which laser frequency we use (stronger/weaker) and the nurse says to know if your skin will burn.
Totally unprofessional..
