HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT- ONTARIO CA, CHAE
I dont even know where to begin when complaining about this manager! Chae has been NOTHING but horrible/rude with me since the moment she became manager. First off, this clinic has seen so much turn around with managers its ridiculous! First i met with Carine who sold me my package ( i didnt like her) then i met with Christine (she was nice) and then Reema (she was great) and now Chae (HORRIBLE!) mind you this is with in a 3 year time frame!
Chae has ABSOLUTLY no customer service skills whatever, she yells and condems her staff right in front of everyone! will talk to you as if you were STUPID! doesnt HONOR anything the old managers said. She is horrible! She is PMSing 24/7. I have filed numerous complaints about her! She is the worst manager i have ever seen!!
Please stay far away from her! I dont even understand how they can have someone promoting beauty for there company that looks like her!?

Company left town
Tulsa ALC left town/closed/not sure. They don't exist anymore.
Got letter from another company that has "taken over" clients. You only get 6 treatments for laser hair removal - if you need more then you have to travel to Houston (closest ALC) for more or pay the new company that took over the Tulsa ALC.
6 treatments is not enough, and they actually expect me to drive/fly to Houston for a treatment. I live in Tulsa, OK... (8hrs one way - 500 miles) really?
They did return my call and emailed me within a day. About asking for a refund (since the treatment is not complete) the Tulsa office is private, they only use the name ALC for advertising. So we have to approach the local ALC, which is now defunct, to ask for a refund. Anyone know the Tulsa owner? or what we can do?
BTW - never got a letter from ALC stating anything.
About ready to contact BBB and a legal.

Vela Shape and Skin Tightening
I came in to the American Laser Center for an opportunity to have a $50.00 facial being bought for me by my daughter-in-law. A woman named Aggie Fijolek told us that she could not sign us up for the facial until we had listened to additional information on their services available, as it was 'Company Policy". We agreed to listen. Aggie proceeded to tell us about the other services offered, and explained that they were working under "A Doctors Supervision" and that "They were highly trained." She told me that I would be a very good candidate for the Vela Shape treatments, that would be done on my stomach, hips, abdomen, and back "Love Handle" area. Also I could receive a skin tightening procedure on my forehead, cheeks, chin, and neck areas. She brought out pictures of other unnamed patients, before and after the procedures, for example. She then had us fill out a form to see if we would 'Qualify' for Financing, in case we decided upon any procedures. We did.
Next Aggie described what procedures would be best for us to have done, before any $50.00 facials, which would be done AFTER any treatments we needed. This was to All be done under a Doctor's supervision. Each technician that would preform treatments, were to be highly trained. Before I knew that I would NOT be paying the American Laser Treatment Center, yet instead a Chase Medical account, that had conveniently just been set up in my name. Aggie also assured me that my 'Husband's concerns would not be an issue as I could pay at the American Laser Center, without being billed. Aggie also stated that if we did not sign up that very day, our "Special Deal" would not be available, as this was the last day of the "Special services offered during the promotion". When we became somewhat reluctant, Aggie began offering more sessions with the Vela Shape Treatment Tech and more skin tightening procedures. Aggie quickly thrust the papers we needed to sign, in our direction and an agreement was made so as not to miss out on the promotional treatments. I was offered 6 skin tightening treatment on 3 zones of my face, one session would be given free for signing up that day, and 3 Micro-dermabrasions free of charge. I was also to receive 16 Vela Shape sessions for the amount of $2, 062.50. The Skin Tightening procedures would be at a cost of $2, 640.00, to my greatest surprise!
Appointments were set up that very day, so that I could begin my transformation. I began the first of the very painful treatments at 2PM on Dec. 9th, 2008. I was to receive skin tightening and a Vela shape treatment, of which I received only a Vela shape treatment on my stomach and abdomen area, not the hips and back "love handles" as promised. The Tech simply said she would do it 'Next Time". My nest visit was at 2PM Tuesday, Dec. 16th, 2008. This was another Vela shape Only procedure, done on the stomach abdomen area, leaving out the hips and love handles or back areas. I again was told 'Next Time".
The bruising on my stomach was incredible and shocking, yet I was assured this was 'Normal" by the person doing the procedure. My next appointment was on 1-13-09 at 12:45 PM. I received a Vela Shape treatment and a Micro-dermabrasion. Next appointment on 1-22-09 at 12:45 PM I was treated by a woman named Stephanie, who only did half of my Vela shape treatment on my abdomen, as I had complained that it "Really hurt" on my right side when she used the machine. I asked why she didn't turn it down or something she told me that "She didn't have anymore time that day" and that I said "It hurt" so she didn't continue. All my treatment were painful but they were continued and I was assured that it was normal. Next appointment on 1-29-09- was canceled by American Laser Center, after my arrival, as I had been taking antibiotics, and was told that they could not do the procedure until I was finished taking them.
On 2 12-09 I visited American laser Center for the last time, and a blonde Polish woman did the Vela shape procedure with the back done finally, and the hips.
In total I have gone to 5 appointments with only two having anything to do with my face, one being a micro-dremabrasion, and another a skin tightening. My husband then advised me to cancel any further appointments as he spoke to his personal doctor and the doctor told him that organ bruising could have happened with these procedures that were Not recommended by most reputable internists, in his opinion. I'm sure upon relaying this information to my personal physician, Dr. Barbara Loeb of Downers Grove, Good Samaritan Hospital, she would agree with his recommendation to stop the American Laser Treatment Program.
I was promised 11 more treatments of full Vela Shape on abdomen, stomach, hips and back areas. I also received one skin tightening free of charge and I was to receive 5 more skin tightening treatments, which were never preformed. I was to receive 3 free micro-dermabrasion treatments, of which only 1 was done. I never received the original $50.00 facial.

horrible people Dangerous! liars... i was former employee!!!
this company is a scam!!! i was a former employee and this job required being able to lie to clients!! once then sell you the treatments they dont give a shit about you... the refund process is very easy and is up to the manager when she turns the files into corporate.
most of the times, they just put it on the side and lie to clients that its under process when its not. when selling treatments, they sell you at the price they think you will buy. if you wait till end of the month when they are desperate to hit their monthly goal they dont care what they sell and for how much, they just sell.
this company uses lasers that are not meant for hair removal but it had a little affect on the growth of hair for a while. so the lasers are not being used for the correct purpose!!! you damage your skin completly because you have to get treatments for over 3 years!!!
i cant say enough about how bad this company is...!!! specially the sugar land location. the manager, Veronica trevino is best friends with the regional manager, Angleica, and gets away with anything. she mis treats clients, rips them off, and never takes care of their issues!!!

No Results and No Respect
I would have to equate this company with a sleazy care dealership or one of those gyms that will tell you anything to lock you into a contract and then smugly tell you that you can never get out of it. American Laser Center will empty your bank account without any regards for your results or customer service. The people that work there are rude and irritated when it comes to booking appointments, but perhaps worse is that they constantly hound you to spend more money during your appointments. I have literally been spread eagle for a bikini line removal and sales reps will walk in and start pitching you. They will tell you that your hair will be gone in a certain amount of time, but when they pitch you they will say you need all these extended time periods that cost more money. For all the money, the time, the lost energy in dealing with the rude never-ending rotation of poorly trained staff none of it worked. This is a complete scam. Go for electrolysis if you want results.

Burns, No refunds
American Laser Center burned me with their laser. It caused blistering and scarring. They refuse to give me a refund. I am in the process of talking to several newspapers and reporters to expose the Chattanooga office. They tell you to call their customer service line but you never get to talk to the regional manager and you never get the refund. I will cost them more than what I paid because I am telling anyone who will listen not to buy anything from them.

No Refund
My information was picked from a contest to receive credit towards a packet. I went in on Tuesday Sept 2nd, 2008 with a 4pm appointment to meet and see what package to select. After my meeting I picked two packages and opened a laser credit account. My first appointment was scheduled for the Sept. 4th so the clinic manager charged the account for that day. After going home it was not the right time for me to get treatment so I called first thing on Sept 3rd and asked that the charges be reversed and the appointment canceled. I was told it would take 4-6 weeks for this to take place due to the process it had to go through being a medical facility. Needless to say after this clinic manager promises that she has done everything possible and has escalate up to every chain possible my account has still not been reimbursed. Aftern numerous escalated calls I have asked for a return call to let me know the status and not once has the office manager called me back. This office manager states that she has taken this to her regional director, VP of National Sales and to the top accounting manger. All have not done anything to resolve this almost 6 month old issue. Based on this I would not recommend anyone to go to this clinic as if there were a real medical issue or a product needing reimbursement you will never get resolution!

Avoding Proper Refund
They have promised for a proper refund if I decide to cancel my contract, less approprate cancellation fee, if for whatever reason I'm not satisfied with the service. However, they are not following up to the promise as stated in the contract. It has been 2 months since I have requested for a refund. Not only are they not returning my calls, but ignoring my calls as well (Assuming via call ID).
I can only imagine it'll be a battle to get my refund.
DO NOT COMMIT TO THEIR CONTRACTS!!! THEIR SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND HORRIBLE!
