I contacted American Law Firm in hopes of obtaining a loan modification. Initially, they were very responsive and helpful with details. As we began our process they repeatedly said they would refund all money if they were not able to obtain the modification, etc. As i had this in writing i felt OK sending them almost $2, 000. After 2 months of sporadic correspondance with American Law Firm i contacted my lenders and both of them said they received incomplete packages and were not able to process the transaction. I passed this along to American Law Firm and they requested a second payment to complete it. I refused and asked for a refund, which they declined. They terminated my case and said they were not going to refund my money. I called American Law Firm and asked to speak with the attorney on record and the guy that answered the phone hung up on me. I called back and he said that Nicholas Hedding did not have voicemail. I asked for his name and he said he would not give it!! I called back again, someone else answered and they refused to forward my call - SHADY!

I am forwarding this to the Office of the Attorney General so others can be warned. Please pass this along: DO NOT WORK WITH AMERCAN LAW FIRM OR NICHOLAS HEDDING, all they want is to get your money and don't care about your outcome at all!!!
