does not want to pay bills

my husband had a needed hernia surgery we never used the insurance before. We were told when I purchased this online that it would pay 80/20. that was fine keep the cost down for us. We are struggling hard working people. Maybe 400 a month is not a lot of money to some but it is to us. The hospital bill was 5699.00 they paid nothing they do not cover the facilities. They sure painted a moch brighter picture. Now they have every excuse why not to pay

non payment of medical claims

January 1, 2011, I was put with AMLI by Homeland Healthcare. I knew they have a pre-existing conditions clause and I faxed them my letters of credible coverage like they asked for. in July I was laid off from my job where I had United Healthcare for two years. August 1, 2010, I got a Limited Benefit Plan through Homeland Healthcare and had it until December 31 at which time they switched me over to AMLI. Now AMLI is telling me that they don't recognize Homeland Healthcare so because I had them more than three months they are not going to accept United Healthcare either and therefore are not going to pay the claims because they are pre-existing conditions. They are not helpfu at all and just trying to reach a live person and not a recording is a real nightmare. I would not recommend them to anyone. I hope this helps someone else to avoid what I am going through.
