Fraud
American Memorabilia ( Susan Keita and Victor Moreno ) owe me over $2000 for over 6 months and Susan keeps telling me she has no answer for me. She sold my lots, spent my money and continues to take lots from other people to do the exact same thing. This is no different than Bernie Medoff. This is criminal ! These people should go to jail.

Breach of Contract/Non-Payment
I consigned an item, that was sold on their online auction. I had a signed contractual agreement with American Memorabilia, that I would receive payment within 90 days of the auction close. I have called and e-mailed dozens of times to no avail, e-mails go unanswered and when you are lucky enough to get Kieta on the phone its one excuse after another. I know there are more people across the country that are having these same problems with American Memorabilia as I am. Something has to be done to stop this company, so they don't rip-off more people

non-payment
I am a retired special agent, state investigator and law enforcement officer with the NYPD for over 20 years. For the agencies to act everyone must do the following: register complaints with: The FTC, Sentinel Unit, The FBI"s Internet Fraud Unit, The Nevada Attorney General's Office, and the Dept. of Business and Industry, Consumer Affair's Division, state of Nevada. I have also been victimized, and now the gloves are coming off, Harvey.

internet fraud, no payment for item auctioned
I'm in the same boat as many others posting to this site having sent a valuable item to American Memorabilia for their online auction only to find it, thusfar, impossible to receive payment. I was desperate for funds when I sent the family heirloom to them last summer; they even spoke of providing advances once the item was authenticated. Of course, once it was authenticated and declared "excellent", they then stated they don't do advances. It sold in September '08. Neither emails nor phone calls are productive. They forget which excuse they've already given for not paying as promised. I filed a complaint with BBB in Las Vegas last month, but have heard nothing beyond a recognition of receiving my complaint. At this point I want, make that NEED, my money (about $1600).
Tonight I emailed Kieta (again) stating that at this point I not only want my money, but I also want to get any regulatory agency I can to investigate them regarding what appears to be fraud by internet. I was glad to see someone mention this here. I'm fairly certain this falls into a federal level of fraud. FBI?? I'm not sure which agency would manage that? I admit I want my money before they go down, but they shouldn't be allowed to continue abusing people's trust. What about class action lawsuit?

Rip off
I met the owner, Victor Moreno, at a sports memorabilia show in May 2008 and he was looking for sports items to put in his auctions. I had brought some items with me to the show and he asked to look at them.

He wanted to auction one of my items which was a valuable baseball bat. He explained to me how his business works and that he could get me a good price for this item and that I would be paid within 90 days after the auction.

I signed the paperwork and he took the bat and did sell it at auction on July 17, 2008. I saw that it had sold on his website and the price it sold for. They never denied this. The problem was getting paid.

I've been calling and e-mailing repeatedly since October asking for my money. Victor will not respond in any way. Kieta is a woman that works for him and all she does is give me excuses as to why they can't send me a check now. Today is Jan. 5th, 2009 and they still have done nothing to send me my money.

When I spoke to her last which was a couple of weeks ago she said that she thinks that I should get paid in February. I never would have done business with them if I had known that it would take almost a year to get paid! This company is a RIPOFF!
