I had bought the APC home inverter BI800I with 2 years warranty on inverter and battery. However for last 2 months the battery was giving negligible backup and now the inverter had been shut down for last 15 days. the inverter fan is also making a lot of noise when running. I brought this to the notice of service engineer but he dusted the fan and the problem was not rectified. I made numerous calls to their call center and each time I was promised that the problem would be solved within 48 hours but now it is going to be more than 15 days and the problem is still unresolved. The customer has no option but to face the electricity woes.
