Complete scam
Was sold my own website for an online pharmacy for $295.00. I was supposed to get a commission for sales generated on this site, I just had to get people to it. About a week later I received another call telling me that they could get my website moved up on all the major search engines and I would also get web banners for $9, 450.00. They said that by doing this the website would start to generate $4, 000.00 to $6, 000.00 a month. I thought this was an inflated number, but I had just lost my job and was desperate to make money. So I hoped that I might be able to generate even half this amount. Well, they neglected to tell me that my website was actually a sub-domain and that the major search engines wouldn't even recognize it. Supposedly I didn't need to know anything about internet advertising or programming or anything technical at all to make this work. As time went on and I didn't see any sales on my site, I began calling and questioning them. Now they tell me it's my fault for not doing different online advertising techniques. I asked what exactly had I spent my $9, 450.00 for and was told to increase traffic and then they would have me look at this page on their website that showed how many people had supposedly been to my site. Well this story goes on and on and needless to say, it just turned into one lie after another and the end result was I never made a dime, I couldn't get any of my money back (even though originally I was told if I wasn't happy I would get half of it back), and wound up having to file for bankruptcy because I had to put all of this on my credit card and wound up trying to use a credit solution scam (yeah, I know, now I just sound gullible, but desperate times call for desperate measures). I just hope this will at least keep anyone else from falling for this and possibly put this scam out of business.
