I Bought a brand new Dell XPS M1330 laptop on Feb-2008 and it was working fine but with over heat, which you can easly notice.
on Jan-2009 i had a problem with the laptop, which i can't turn it on and use it for more than an hour until its hang up and syop working.
i sent the lap top to dell service in Bahrain and they kept it there for a week until they informed me that there is a problem with the motherboard and needs to be changed, and they orderd a new motherboard and fix it, i recieved my laptop and though that they really fix it, but i noticed that the batery is not charging, so i retuned it back to them and it took one more week to answer me and tell me that they orderd a new batery and let me know when its ready for collection, that time i informed them that there is a shutdown probelm as the coumputer does't shutdown and it keeps restarting unless you remove the power, and they told me that they'll check it and let me know, after few days they called back and said that the computer is ready for collection, i rechecked the computer and i found that they fixed a new battery and they didn't fix the shutdown problem, so i called them again and informed them that they didn't fix the shutdown issue, so they told me it might be a software issue, "just reinstall the windows and everything will be fine.
i reinstalled the windows and the same problem still not fixed,
two days ago i resent the laptop for them to check the problem and the answer was, " your warranty is expired". and they informed me that they will try to help me..!!
after a while they called back and said that i need to change the motherbard (AGAIN)!! and they'll charge me ONLY 50%.
i really tried to compalint through dell website but in fain.
