I recieved a phone call today stating that a Officer Brown from the Us Legal Dept wanted to speak with me about a past due payday loan that I owed on. The number he called from was 724-825-4886 he asked did I have a attorney and asked why would I need one and what is this all about . He told me that I had to pay 814.00 by the end of today or i was going to have Federal Charges filled against me. He told me he wanted to talk to me because he knew I had no criminal background (this is true) and wanted to help me keep me that way.. I told him that I did not know what he was talking about that I have never had a Payday Loan and how did they get my number. He told me to contact ACS attorney at 817-717-7310 so when I called that numder a Robin Jackson with a very heavt foriegn accent aswered the phone. He began to tell me that I had to pay the loan tosay or I was going to have theft charges and check charges filed against me . But if I would pay today it would all go away. He told me that I had to pay by Western Union only and that was all he could do for me until I calle dhim when I was at the Western Union. I began to question him on why I was never contacted by mail or never heard of this and he told me they only contact by email (red flags went up).. So I told him I would have to call him back later because I did not have the money and I wanted to talk to my bank. So I did call my bank who said this is a scam and to call the Better Business Buaero where I talk to people there who said this is a huge scam and to stay away.. Then she gave me the numbet to the fedral trade Commision so I could file a complaint with them. I called them at 877-382-4357 they had heard of the company apparently numerous times and took the complaint saying that I had no need to worry that they are a SCAM and to stay away do not answer there calls. They said that they are recieving alot of complaints and are investgating it so call them so you too can file a complaint to help out they wanted any numbers that I had and all information. after that I called the attorney General Offices where I also filed a complaint and there to they had heard of them and has had numerous complaints... At the end of the day ACS Mr Jackson tried to contact me with a variety of numbers that I did not answer but then the called with a local number that was only 1 digit off from sisiter in laws phine number creepy.. I answered thinking it was local it was Mr Jackson I told him I knew that he was a fraud and had filed complaints with The FTC and Attorney Generals office he then told me that he had tapped my phone lines and recorded my conversations ???? And that a group of investigators would come to my house and drag my away infront of my children and take me to the court house ... This is when i hung up and called the police to report them again no surprise they had heard of them... so to anyone who gets this call it is a scam ignore them hang up but do report them and the numbers they call with... It is crazy how they have all your information but if you call the credit agancy you can place a fraud alert to give peace of mind.. Hope they get these guys it is wrong to do this to people...
