I am ashamed to admit that I have been taken by ameriloan. I consider myself, and educated person, and typically am pretty savvy to scams. The sad thing is that no matter the education level of the individual, at some point we are all week. I got a payday loan from Ameriloan for $250, I was under the imprission that every week on payday $90 would be debited from my checking account, well they did take out $90 per week, and when I had already paid $575, they decided to go for it all. They took out $90, and $50 on the same day, ane the next week they tried to withdraw $310, and $400 on the very same day. What happened after that was financially devistating. A ton of checks bounced I almost lost my car. And they had the nerve to call tonight and ask that we pay $310 to pay off the debt, I couldn't belive what I was hearing, so I played along, after they wanted me to authorize another debit from my checking account. Hello, I was financially ruined once, and have no means of recouping my losses. I told them I would send a check for the remainder of the funds (which I did not owe) The customer service rep, quickly replied, we don't take checks. What legitimate Co, who wants to collect, so called losses, will not accept a check? They advised me to go to Walmart and get a prepaid credit card and call them when I get it, so they could get the numbers, and draw from it immediately. At this point the only thing I am worried about is, do they report to the credit bureau? I am trying so hard to clean up my credit and they may have the means to destroy my name. Do they ever stop, and so I have any legit complaint?

I agreed to the loan for 150 dollar to come out of my account in 45 dollar increments, and within 2 days there was a charge for 45 and for 50, and also the status on my loan on their website says another payment of 80 is due on the 25th of April and the balance due is 130, when two payments had been previously taken out of my bank out to pay off this loan.
