Scam and cheating!
Yes, i got a phone call stating about the 2,000.00 credit card, I proceeded to hang up but they intrigued me, since they knew so much about me, my checking acct #, my last four digits of social security, my date of birth, i asked for validation of company give me an address and a phone number. I called it on my other phone and ameritrust financial recording answered. So then I began to trust, I told him I won't send not a sent till I get the card, and what type was it visa or mastercard. The lady could not answer but switch me to a man to verify info. So the next day I checked my checking acct and I was at a negative... I was so mad... They knew a lot about me... I wonder if they get our info from the credit reporting agencies, because since i updated info, they constantly get emails i never received before.

Phone calls all the time
Person keeps calling me trying to offer me a pre-approved credit card. I have been getting credit card offers now from different companies since I reported my two credit cards that *I* applied for stolen after $2000 worth of bogus charges appeared on my two cards.
Now I can't get these calls to stop. So far, the first call I got was a bogus call from yet another credit card company in Florida wanting my mother's maiden name, my SSN and my checking account information.
How do these people get our information? I have gotten a FLOOD of bogus offers since I had that police report filed over my 2 stolen legit credit cards.
And how in the hell did they get my cell phone number?

Scam Company
Almost all I can do is "ditto" everything that has been said here. This is a horrible company, I can't believe I have been duped into this. I'm trying a stop payment on the $200.00 fee that they want, and we'll see how that goes. I'm so ticked at this company. I've never gone to the BBB before, but I'm going to on this one. We need to rally and get this place shut down.

Fraud, liars, one big scam!
This company has called me fifteen times in two days, i never answered the phone until the curiosity finally got to me and I called back. When you originally call back it all seems legitimate, automated answering service and all. These are the most ignorant, rude unprofessional people i have ever dealt with. The first woman i spoke with took my information and told me her supervisor "Sean" would call me back, as soon as i hung up the phone i got a bad feeling about giving my information, I called right back and asked to speak with a manager, the person that answered said there was no manager, then told me he was the manager. I repeatedly told him to take all of my information out of the system and to put a manager on the phone, he told me he would go ahead and put me on hold for a couple hours while he drove to a managers house. He was rude, ignorant, hung up on me. told me that i would never be able to speak with a manager, i called back several times and he was the only person to answer the phone, as if he was the only one working. so they operantly have caller id. I am not sure if they are able to get in my account, i told them to remove all my info and called my bank, i now have to close my bank account and reopen another one, hopefully they wont get in my account before then. I am calling the BBB and any one else that will listen!!!

Credit card fraud!
Ameritrust Financial contacted me and my husband about rebuilding our credit with a credit card that has a $2000 credit limit. They said they report to the credit bureau every month instead of yearly like other credit card companies so that our credit would improve rapidly. They took $200 from our checking account and we received a letter that told us that the credit line was from their catalog which they never mentioned on the phone. Also, they never mentioned that all purchases need 35% down as well. Not once did this sales rep. mention that this was a catalog account. My husband and I get offers for those all the time and we throw them away.

Fraud & cheating!
Do not be stupid like me!! I am having financial problems. I was sitting here one day thinking "What am I going to do"? And wa-la, a phone call from Ameritrust Financial promising me a $2,000 credit card. All I had to do was give them a $200.00 deposit that would be given back to me as payment vouchers. I tried to call to cancel the deal before the check cleared and could not get through. I got a hold of them after the check cleared after twenty minutes on and I asked when the card would arrive and was told in three days. Well after three days, guess what ? No card. When I called they told me that a letter was being mailed that I had to sign and send back. I knew I was in trouble then. "When I got the letter I read it and it said "I will recieve (4) 50.00 worth of payment vouchers to use towards the payments on the balance of my AmeriTrust Financial Merchant Catalog Finance Account... Cash advance terms... with a maximum of $1000.00" I was confused but still thought I could at least get cash advances if needed. I faxed over the letter called a few days later to see if they mailed my card and the told me they did not receive the fax. I then went to the Internet and found all of this stuff from other victims like myself. I called my bank and changed my checking account because I did not want them to try to send any more checks through like happened with another victim.
Do not trust these people. You can't get through to them, they put you into a type of loop "welcome to Ameritrust financial, please hit one if you know the four digit extension of the person you want to speak with or hit two for customer service" you hit two and it puts you through the loop again.
This is a SCAM!
If it sounds too good to be true it probably is.
