On 4/13/2010 a friend posted this web site on her facebook site, http://www.newswebdaily.com/health/white-teeth/index1.php?t202id=22035&t202kw=US I read it and believed the information to be truthful. I clicked on the hype-link for everbritewhites.com and filled out the information to receive the teeth whitening product with the knowledge that I was entering into a membership and would have 10 days to try the product and if not satisfied could cancel my membership. I provided my credit card and agreed to the $3.87 s/h fee. A few hours later I discovered that the web site was spam and the offer was a scam. I immediately called the toll free number to everbritewhites to discover their offices were closed. I called on 4/14/2010 during business hours and spoke with "karen jones", I informed her that I wanted to CANCEL my trial mambership and I did not want to try the product that I felt I was misled by the web site and I was not interested. Jones tried to convince me and offered a 20 day trial period, I kindly refused and repeated that I wanted to cancel my trial membership. Jones informed me that she had all my information and an email would be sent within a couple of hours and I would need to follow the instructions to complete the cancellation process. On 4/15 I called again to Everbritewhites and spoke to "stacy lopez", I informed her that I had not received the email and I wanted to make sure that my trial membership was cancelled. Lopez again took all the information for me and confirmed that my membership was cancelled. Within a couple of hours I received a phone call from my credit card company, fraud division, who informed me that Everbritewhites had attempted to charge $87.47 to my account. The transaction was denied and the credit card spokesperson advised me to close my account, which I did. I then made one more call to Everbritewhites and spoke to "nicole" who confirmed that my account/membership had been cancelled/closed. Nicole had no idea why the charge was attempted. As I informed her, had I continued with the trial membership, I had 10 days to try the product before being charged for any additional shipment, I wasn't even given that opportunity, once I cancelled, I was charged. I informed Nicole that I would be filing complaints and this was no way to conduct a business, with no disrespect to her at all, she only works there, but to pass the information onto her management.
On 4/28/2010 the EverBriteWhites company also known as "&IBUILDWEALTH" charged $40 to my account without authorization!
