Do not fall prey as one of their victims. These people advertise on places like Craigslist to do a survey on Western Union, so at first glance from the ad you think you'll be doing a Mystery Shopping job when in reality you'll actually be committing fraud that will cost you your own money and criminal charges!
Here's how it works:
They send you a check to wire money through Western Union. As their "employee" you are asked to provide your bank account information. Funds (the check they send you) are deposited to that account and you are instructed to wire to a third (often international) account. You are instructed to deduct a percentage of the wired account as your "commission".
But instead of processing payments, you have actually become involved in a criminal activity as a Mule by laundering funds from your account!
