Unauthorized billing
I signed up with Amx Casting months ago and was told if I didn't get work in 3 months they would refund my $58. 3 months went by and no work. I gave it a little more time to see if something would pop up, but nothing. I noticed every job I would send my info to from the site would not be in my sent box, leaving me to wonder if it had ever really been sent. When I tried to cancel the number no longer worked and the website is now suspended, so there is no way to contact them. I had to order a new card with a new number bc they kept charging it $19.95. From what I have seen online lately when I google them I am not the only one who is out money. Many people have had to cancel cards because they can't get these people on the phone to cancel their account.

Unauthorized billing
When i originally phoned them to sign up it appeared i would be charged a 'one-time' fee of $35.00 and had 3 days to set up the account. If i did not set up my account withing the 3 days, then i was at rist of losing my $35.00. NO problem...
I never got a chance to set up my account and thought nothing more of it other than i had lost $35.00.
Recently i noticed my account has been automatically debited $35.00 every month to them, yet I have never even used their services.
There is no phone number listed on their website and I have been unable to cancel my account with them to stop these automatic charges.
Now i must cancel my credit card in order to avoid these continuous charges.

Awful experience
I am not sure what this company is up to but I am very skeptical to say the least. I was browsing the classifieds in the back of the East bay Express and found an ad for a company that was seeking extras for TV and movie work. I called the number and signed up for the work. A man by the name Ryan Renwick picked up the phone and asked if I had ever called them before. I said no I have not and he explained to me that they are a casting company that needs extras for TV shows. I said fine this would be fun work what do I need to do. He took my personal information and explained that there is a site that has my profile that casting agents look from to select people for extras work. He said there would be a one time fee of $58 and a monthly fee of $19 dollars to have my profile on the site. He took my all my personal information as well as account info. I agreed to this. He gave me a mailing address as well as his name. He explained to me that I am supposed to get my profile up in 24 hours and contact Talent Support to get a critique on my profile. He gave me a number for Talent Support. I contacted them just before Christmas and they said their Talent Support agent was not around and could I call back after the holidays. I said no problem. 2 days after Christmas I received a call from a Talent Support agent but missed the call. I tried returning the call and here's where I get skeptical. All the number I have for them now do not work. When I call the main number I get a message that's “all circuits are busy' Same thing with Talent Support as well. When I call the number they have listed on their site I get the same thing as well. I am really nervous at this point. Not sure where to go from here as well.
