Dear sir,
I underwent a treatment after I came from Australia between June 2010 October 2010 at Ananthapuri Hospital in Trivandrum, India. I was receiving treatment from Dr. S. Jayaram. During the counseling, Dr. S. Jayaram asked me several questions regarding what had happened in Australia. All such questions were unnecessary. This was not a part of the treatment. He wanted to know everything and he recorded my conversation. I did not tell him anything particular that happened in Australia. Dr. S. Jayaram had a different objective and I do not know who he works for, whether it is Ananthapuri Hospital or Australian Spy.
During the counseling he asked me about my past history since my birth and he wrote in a book and file. When I was asleep after relaxation therapy, he searched my hand book and cell phone. In the book, I had written my net banking log on and email details. Now I need Yahoo and Google help to check my email address to know who logged onto my email from June 2010 to October 2010.
After the counseling session had finished, on October 12 2010, I came back to his office to ask a question. At the time I heard his conversation with his assistant, an ayurvada psychologist . He was using obscene language in reference to my parents and me. I heard him talking about what happened to me in Australia. He knew everything that happened in Australia. I do not know how he knows such information. He probably work for Australians.
During the time, I noticed several bad behavior from Dr.S.Jayaram. Ananthapuri hospital is a centralized air conditioned building and Dr.S. Jayaram's office is in basement. However, the air condition was never switched on during the period June 2010 to October 2010. I noticed that they have air handling unit, supply air as well as return air diffuser in the basement. I complained many times to the public relation manager, staff, and Dr.S.Jayaram who became angry at me. I believe he may have sold my information to the immigration department.
I met patients who came to see Dr. S Jayaram. We were all charged 1200 RS for psychological support 600 RS, relaxational therapy 500 RS and 100 RS to take file. The actual counselling session only lasted 15 to 20 minutes but the waiting period was 4 to 5 hours. During this period they never switched on air conditioning. In front of his office there were two rooms where they steam hospital equipments with more than 100 degrees centigrade. The hot air traveled to the waiting area where we were sitting for up to 5 hours. There was no fresh air or any type of ventilation. After a fan was placed in the waiting area.
Dr S.Jayaram is not a Psychologist but he charged up to 600 RS for psychological support. His treatment is only basic yoga exercise only but he injected me illegally without my awareness.
I met and spoke with patients in Dr. S Jayaram's office who were very poor and got mental illness because of their financial problems. But Dr S. Jayaram charged large amounts of money from them. For example, 1200 RS for 15 to 20 minutes for a single time every week.
Dr. S. Jayaram is a member of the Indian Medical Association, Chathannur President (Kollam), and past president of Indian Psychiatric Society-South Zone. I strongly believe Dr. S. Jayaram did MBBS and DPM only to make money and not to serve others.
Ananthapuri Hospital should respect NRIs. Non Resident Indians’ contribution is high in the Indian economy. Some of our people left India, which is why unemployment rate came down in India and we went abroad not only to make money, but also to help others.
Whoever plans on going to Ananthapuri hospital be vary careful. They cheated me and took my money. I paid total RS 20000 to 25000.
