I have owned the trimmer for about 2 years. The batteries from the very beginning took extremely on tong to charge. Both took about 24 hours or more. Then after that they take about 24 hours to recharge. They only last a short time and I only have one charger so I have to wait for the other battery to charge for 24 hours before I can complete the job. My neighbor and I both bought one and he has the same problem; Our yards are very small and we should not have to charge the batteries continuously to do what little trimming there is around our houses. His trimmer batteries and my just don't hold any charge.
I have many other Black and Decker appliances and they have always been good. I have an electric drill that is over 50 years old and it still works. Please let me know if there is anything that can be done about these almost useless tools.
