I purchased a used 1894 Lincoln Continental on June 30 th 2006 from Abdulla Aldhulay for my granddaughter and within 12 hrs the check engine light came on. All fluids were checked and nothing appeared to be wrong so we assumed it needed an oil change because the oil was dirty and planned to take it in for one on Friday. On Wed, day 5 of owning the vehicle it overheated and broke down. When towed to the mechanic he said it blew a head gasket and also a large whole in the radiator. It was bought without a guarantee but I feel that since he kept telling us it was a good car that it should have
lasted longer than 5 days. Also, my grandaughter had given them $230 for a deposit before we purchaced it. When we said we had reconcidered he said "well I would hate to have to keep your deposit". He repeted this several times. Believing that my granddaughter would lose the money she had saved for her deposit I bought the car. After I left he told my granddaughter that he just said that so I would get her the car. The repairs will be about $1, 400..
