Several weeks ago, I was unable to go to my e-mail site (Verizon) or any other site - banking, FaceBook, etc. Each time, an advertisement for Antivirus Soft would come across the screen advising that I had a virus and could purchase their product(s) to alleviate the problem. Out of frustration of not being able to check e-mail, banking, etc., I signed up for their basic program at a fee of $49.95 for three months placed on my MasterCard. Yes, I was able to once again check e-mails, etc., but at a much slower rate and my computer just kept shutting off. When I attempted to contact this company, their were no where to be found. My computer was in for repairs and I was told this was a "bogus" company and they had actually put a virus on my machine. I would like to know how to forego paying for their lack of service.
