I got caught by purchasing the above software. I got my credit card company to stop most of the payment and at present Internet payments are blocked on my credit card. I have received an e mail written in poor English saying that I have not paid for their software and lawyers and the police will be instructed. To prove I have paid I have been asked to provide bank details.

Do I have to worry about this? I have not opened the e mail attachments and I was able to download antivirus software via the retailer I purchased my laptop from to remove the antivirus2008 software.

I always thought that if you paid by credit card the retailer has to take non payment issues up with the credit card company. Card holders in the UK have the Consumer Credit Act to hide behind.

i purchased this software and 6 months after it was purchased and pd for they are saying i have not pd and there is no way to get a hold of them...phone is disconnected

Installed their product to computer, did not clear errors as stated. PC not working correctly after download. I found out next day that they have billed my MasterCard twice for three times the stated cost of their product. Unable to contact their company for answers or complaints.
