I relocated all my household items from Bangalore to Hyderabad through ANZ Packers & Movers. They initially came and gave me a quotation. The way their representative spoke made me believe they are professionals in Packing and Moving. Their Packing was not bad. They took all the items by some local matador and they said that they will move all these things to their own vehicle and send it directly to Hyderabad. After the payment the way they spoke was very different.

Also they promised that I will receive my goods in Hyderabad the very next day which never happened. I received my goods two days later and also at 11 PM in the night. To add to these worries the people who came to unload & carry the goods were not ANZ employees. They were local coolies who had come drunk to unload the vehicles (obviously at 11 PM most of the collies will be drunk to get a good sleep after full day’s hard work). They were not in a position to even unload the things from the canter. After seeing all those I called Mr.Sameer (representative of ANZ). He said that is how they will be delivered and he can’t do anything about it. He just hung the phone without even listening to what I said. I and my friends were forced to unload and carry our goods into my house.

When they packed in Bangalore they said that I can take insurance for all the things at 3% of their Current value which I agreed. So the Insurance cost itself came to around 2500 apart from the Packing & moving charges of Rs.13, 000. I took the insurance only with the assumption that if anything gets damaged, I can claim for the same.

My brand new TV stand was damaged and when I called Mr.Sameer, he first advised me not to go for the claim since it takes a long time and also I may not get the money. When I insisted he gave me a mobile number and asked to call him to know more details about the Insurance. Apparently the mobile number was out of order. This clearly confirms that they did not even take insurance for my items.

What is Suggest to all of you as a well wisher is “NEVER GO for ANZ Packers & Movers".
