My alarm system starting having false alarms on a regular basis
My alarm system starting having false alarms on a regular basis. It would randomly go off in the middle of the night. I contacted Apex for service. A technical support person walked me through several tests on the keypad. He said everything was testing okay. That very night I set the alarm again and it went off, not registering a zone or anything. I contacted Apex again and they sent a technical support person to my home to check it all out. He was unable to find a problem and adjusted the sensitivity level of the sensors. I am not sure that was the brightest thing to do. Again I set the alarm and again it would go off as a false alarm. I then began to call continuously to inform them my alarm was not working properly and I was not able to use it. That is when I began being put on hold for an unreasonable amount of time and transfered from one person to another. After several months of trying to resolve the problem (and them continously withdrawing funds from my account) I requested they cancel my service. They would not because they said I was under contract or they would have to charge my bank account $1200.00. I tried and tried to speak to a manager about this and I was put on hold, transferred around and hung up on. I finally got a manager who informed me my contract was sold to SAI. I spoke with SAI and they said I would have to go through the whole technical support route again. I have been trying to resolve this for 4 months now and am not going back to square one with a new company.
