Cheaters
The people that run Apex Professionals (and are also the owners of Preferred Transfers) are extremely non-professional and dishonest. They have a SCAM presentation ready which is full of errors and partial truths, after which they coerce people into giving them thousands of dollars using fear tactics. These are horrible people to work with. I am ashamed that I had any association with them. They also claim to be Christian-based which is part of their scam to win the trust of elderly people. They are not Christian-based in any way. They are thieves and liars.
I personally saw them lie to many elderly people with very little income just to get their last bit of savings. Don't trust these people. If you want, you can pay someone else to do the transfer paperwork but don't give these people your money. Also, they are lying about the amount that it costs to do the transfers. DO NOT PAY THE FULL PRICE.

Timeshare Scam
Cannot believe that these people can scam the public for almost $4, 000 to take back a timeshare that has been paid for. Then they keep the $4000, do not pay the transfer fees, and we end up owning it in the long run. We are going to the Attorney General to try to get this resolved. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR GIMMIC!!!

Sales Rep provided bad tax information
Apex Professionals are giving their customers bad information regarding taxes. I prepare taxes and I had a tax client come in last week who paid Apex Professionals $2700 to "take" her timeshare. As part of Apex's sales pitch to her, they told her she could deducted the loss of the timeshare on her federal tax return. The Apex rep calculated my client's loss on the timeshare and even filled about a sample Federal Schedule D - Capital Gains and Losses for her. That is not correct. My client owned her timeshare for personal use for 18 years. She did not purchase it for investment purposes, nor did she ever rent the timeshare. Therefore, it is considered personal property and the tax laws are very clear that you cannot deduct a loss on the sale of personal property. I have called Apex three times regarding my client's issue and they will not return my call. The woman at the Apex call center is very polite and says she will pass the information on to the appropriate person, but I have yet to receive a phone call back and it has been a week.

loss of my time
My husband and I had to sit thru almost 2 hours of a lot of double talk with the company apex, they wanted us to give them over $1800 AND my timeshare deed to end my obligation of owning a time share. I was under the impression they would BUY my timeshare to end my obligation, NOT have me give them money. WHAT A JOKE. AND A WASTE OF MY TIME. they should be banned from having these awful scams.
