The food was awful
We went to an Applebee's restaurant near Gulf Shores, Alabama. The food was awful. It was cold and tasted rewarmed from the microwave. I had a fettuccine Alfredo. Part of the noodles were crunchy from microwave warming and not being stirred during heating up. It was a real disappointment.

The only thing quick was the bill
To start with the hostess girls sat other people before our group. we had 3.so then our waitress came to our table and ask if we wanted to drink and what. when she came back with drinks she said i will be right back, 15 minutes, we ordered and our food took 25 minutes, we timed it our appitizer was cold and the chicken penne was not hot either. the only thing quick was the bill. we ask if we could use the discount pass we had and she said yes but only took off part of the bill, needless to say we won't be going there again.

Terrible quality meals
Where to start. I took my wife and daughter out for dinner. My wife and daughter got the 2 for 20 deal, I had the Ultimate trio. We waited for 15 minutes for our drinks, and the strawberry lemonaide tastes like Hawian punch. So I waited another 10 min for the waiter to come so I could reorder. Then we finaly got the appetizer. and waited. and waited. Then the meal came...what a fizzle. My trio was a joke. My daugters riblets tasted burnt. So we ordered desert, hoping for a good ending... oh well. All the shooters were only half full. It looked like they threw them together in a hurry just to get us out of there. I would not have served little kids those things. and very blah on taste. We were hoping for a nice night out and were meet with mediocre service and forgetable food. Another waitress kept teasing our waitor about having to work the late shift so basically all we heard was complaining the whole time. That is when they were in earshot, most of the time they were outside smoking.

Brought us corn that was hard to distinguish from the black pepper grounds
My husband received his food; omg, his corn was hard to distinguish from the black pepper grounds. His steak was the size of a regular tootsie roll and as black. We asked our waiter "Spike", about this corn, he told us my husband got the last of the corn, they had no more. The people across from out table had plates of regular, yellow corn. When we asked for the manager, she said she would not eat the food we were served, but she appeared amused. When I called the main manager, "Stan", the next day, he was incredibly amused.

Waiters and manager smelling and using marajunna at work not good. Jackson Michigan store. just thinking of the kids exposed. What do you say when asked, whats that smell? it stinks. its called employee drugscreening do you support?

I do not appreciate the inconvenience and dealing with your rude manager at your establishment
I ate at the applebee's in the new mall in the Bronx on 1/31/10 while the Grammies was on, the bartender was nice enough to put it on for me, then the manager came and turned it, i asked why she said with an attitude sports r news, once again i asked why, she said news r sports then walked away, but yet they had rap playing in a family restaurant, i am a paying customer who wanted to eat and enjoy the Grammies which comes on only once a yr, i had to take my food to go and try to get home in time to catch the last of it, which at that time my food was cold, and nasty once reheated, i do not appreciate the inconvenience and dealing with your rude manager at your establishment.

Not only was the food very good, the service was quick and friendly
I haven't been to Applebee's resturant for a spell. My husband and I rarely go out on a Friday night. We stopped into Applebee, and was quite surprised. Not only was the food very good, the service was quick and friendly. Everyone of the ggirls had a smile and the manager also was nice. We thoughly enjoyed our visit.

I will not be going back there again
I want to comment about the service my family received from Applebees located in the Cross County Mall. The waiters are slowful and management seems to be the same way. I will not be going back there again.

I will not be eating here again and its sad because its my favorite restaurant
The applebees on richmond rd in lexington ky needs serious improvement there were seats open and we were told to wait then we were sat at the table we had pointed to as being open we sat for 20 mins and not even one server came by to get our order I personally had to ask for the manager who took our order and then the server came up and asked what we would like. I have worked in restaurants before and I understand when there is a rush but to have people who have been seated after us in the same section served before myself and them not be that busy is ridiculous. I will not be eating here again and its sad because its my favorite restaurant.
