The workers were very rude and not very nice and our food was wrong!
It was my friends 21st birthday so we wanted to go there to celebrate. MYSELF had just two drinks and she had Three, we were talking tot he the guy behind the bar just joking around and we asked him how many drinks before you all start to cut off he said three drinks, like I said I only had TWO! well we than ordered bbq chicken wings and we got served the wrong wings the wings we got were HOT!!! And I do not do hot so I ordered a water, and I was talking with my friend and I spilled my drink, I cleaned it but, and I never got another water after that so my boyfriend had a long island ice tea I had a sip of it and anohter lady christina was her name she came over there yelling at us saying we got cut off but noone had told us we were cut off and she embrassed in front of the whole applebees and she was the one who gave us the wrong food and she knew it because she had told us after a few minutes and she did not replace what we had order. Also she took his drink that he ordered and he just got it. She was just very very rude and I work with customers every day and she was not a very good person at it. She kicked us out and said we had to leave, and If I were too do that with my customers I would have been fired right there on the spot. Also we do come there often but we will not be coming there anymore, because when we do we get crappy service our food is messed up and or cold. After last night I was just really upset about how things happened and our food again was messed up. So I will share this with my friends and I can promise that we will never be returning to the washington Mo applebees and I can promise that they will never again go there as well. Maybe you should fire some people because this is always happening and if its a problem every single time they just are not good enough for your business!!!

Horrible Service
I had a party of four, college age, go to Applebees. We all ordered wings. It was 45 minutes before we got out wings, which are an appetizer. Our waiter told us that they had a misunderstanding in the kitchen and it got busy. However, they were not very busy and we saw families come and go before we even received our food. When we asked to receive our food for free because we were at the point we were going to leave because it was taking too long, the waiter said "i don't think that can happen" and went to get his manager. The manager threw his employee under the bus and said it was all his fault and he was probably lying about putting the order in. Managers should not do this, they are in charge, they are responsible. So we asked if our food would be free and he literally laughed at us and said no I think I can take five dollars off and maybe get you dessert. It was the worst dining experience I have ever had. Our waters were never filled, once. I would never go back to this location, even for a free meal.

Overcharged
Was given a bill for a amount and paid with credit card and gave a cash tip and when got home and checked credit card statement was charged a extra 5.07 and was told the computer just does that and would be refunded the next day...Really who does that??? I think not a very dishonest practice to say the least...:( Why during these hard times would you even do that to people who actually spend hard earned money at your restaurant? I work for a Fortune 500 company and I have never ever seen such a practice. A great way to lose customers when you cheat them !

ripping people off for bad service
I understand that these waiters and waitresses are working for low wages and I am always a good tipper IF I get good service. Put it this way, at my job, I have to depend on what you buy to keep my job so why should I go to your job and get treated like crap and give you a big tip for it? If you come to my table and are nice and respectful and do what you can to give me good service you are going to get atleast the 15% tip. If you come to my table and act like you don't give a damn about me and the money I am paying for this meal, don't expect to get anything from me.
Anyway, I don't blame most of my issues with the servers. My last visit I had a bad steak so the manager came out and told me he took that $9.99 off my check. Well, on the check it shows it taken off, but I can add and I can use a calculator, it ONLY shows that taken off, it isn't really taken off. So on my (what should have been $52 )check I paid $62 plus tax and the tip ended up being $74. Why shouldn't I feel ripped off?

dissatified with the food
We visited your restaurant on May 6, 2011, after the college graduation of my daughter and her boyfriend. My husband cannot eat garlic or onions, cooked or raw, or other spices. They make him sick for days. Our server's name was Derek. He assured my husband that there was no onions or garlic or spices in the food that was being prepared for him. When his food arrived, he had GARLIC mashed potatoes on his plate, and the steak WAS seasoned. He offered him french fries in the stead of the garlic mashed potatoes, finally brought them, and we were charged for them. Our bill came to $72.55 (including the french fries, as aforementioned) and the gratuity. He paid with $80 cash, and so was to recieve a $7.45 in change; however, the amount of change was only $7, leading us to believe that our server had kept the remainder of our change. We don't care about the 45 cents; the point is that our change was kept even after gratuity was added. We do not like to complain, but, given the circumstances, we felt compelled to. Thank you for bringing this to your attention.

Discrimination
My sister and I went into Applebees for drinks we didnt sit at the bar maybe that was our mistake. we waited about 15 min while different servers passed us ( to and fro) to getback and forth to the kitchen after we selected a number of 15 songs on the jukebox we finally stopped someone and asked to be served, we explained that we were just getting drinks and possibly dessert. After a few more min a waitress came to take our drink order. We had 2 Long Island Iced teas and a shot a piece ( kamikaze and lemon drop ) During this time we spotted another party in the building they came over to our table and joined us at the beside the jukebox they had been there a little longer than us, they proceeded to stop the server they had a who walked through there frequently. They ordered my sister and I an additional Long Island Iced tea and 1 additional kamikaze shot. We were enjoying ourselves and no waiters came of over to check on us or anything when we receieved our drinks we had to stop and ask servers for them. Other people from the bar came over talking to us and then the manager came over and told us okay the hold table has had enough and that we had to go i asked her why and she gave me some crazy story about we didnt eat and the cut off is 3 drinks and im thinkin people come in at the bar just to get drinks and they dont cut them off and then she tried to say we had too much alchohol coming to the table which when we paid our reciept showed $11 dollars how is that an enormous amount of alcohol and we only spent $11 dollars we observed that we were the only black people in the facility at the time and really felt like they just didnt want to serve us anymore. It was outrageous, we live in a small town and there arent many places to go as it is and this manager is sayin she doesnt wanna accept my hard earned money, we work like everyone else and we just wanna go somewhere and have good drinks at a good pric. we were totally outraged because we were just there the weekend before and we spent $40 a peice on drinks and we didnt get cut off no one came over and said anything about women not holding their liquor or anything. It was racial discrimination and it was disgusting, we are hardworking americans just like everybody else and to be cut off after spending $11 and it wasnt even 11:30

Cold food, old fries, drinks waterdown, service slow and when spoken to manager she did not care poor customer service for the amount of money paid .

horrible service
Went to Applebees for lunch and had to wait 20 minutes to be seated (no big deal) we were seated and shortly after being seated they allowed a karate demonstration near the front entrance that lasted about 30 to 40 minutes with lots of yelling and clapping (very annoying for what you expect to be a nice quiet lunch)! Then they allowed someone to walk around a sell raffle tickets for the karate demonstration (another anoyance). We ordered our food and waited at least 45 minutes while people around us you arrived after us were already served and done eating. When our food arrived it was cold to the touch and we refused it and left. It was the worst experience I have ever had dining out and I will not ever eat at Applebees again. The last time we ate there the service was horrible, but we gave it another try and this was just ridiculously horrendous!!! Our waiter used the excuse that the whole karate thing was making everything confusing and assured us that our food would be hot (we asked him if the delay would make our food cold) and then another server brought our food and my pasta was cold and my husbands chile fries were cold and soggy: my sons chicken tenders were also cold! We went to Elephant Bar and Grill and had extremely fast and curteous service and a meal that was hot and delicious. You need to check into this, I don't think that we were the only patrons who were upset. The complaint sight for Applebees does not work...apparently they don't want to hear about peoples complaints!

Useless website
Ok, I chose your restaurant because you have the weight watcher's menu. So i goggled and one of the options under Applebees was WW. So of course I chose that. It took me to a page that had nothing to do with WW and nothing to select on that page at all. That was just the beginning of the problem.

I tried looking at the menu, no points.

I also tried, unsuccessfully to choose my favorite (not any more) restaurant. I tried it 2 or 3 different ways, and it never saved it.

Your website looks pretty, but is pretty much non-functional.

burnt food
My husband and I took our two sons out to dinner in celebration for a very special occasion on Thursday the 20th of January at about 6:00. We ordered our food and drinks, and we received three of the four dinners within a fair amount of time. We had to wait an additonal 5 minutes or so for the fourth dinner. It was then that our son noticed the ribs in his rib dinner were burnt to a crisp. So bad there was little meat left on the bone and he could not cut through them with a knife as the waitress had asked him to do. The waitress looked in disbelief and said I am sorry the ribs were brunt. I then asked to speak with the manger Jeffrey and after a brief conversation he offered to take the rib dinner off our bill. I told him that was not necessary and recommened he speak with the cook. He took the dinner and never brought us a replacement dinner. The waitress came over 10 minutes later and asked if we wanted anything for our son. Frustrated, we said we were still waiting on the replacement rib dinner. The waitress then went back to the kitchen to check on our replacement rib dinner, and within a couple of minutes she returned with what appeared to be the original burnt rib dinner in a to-go box in side of a bag. To avoid any further embarassment we paid our bill tipped the waitress and left.
