Our ice machine stopped working in the heat of the summer her in Dallas. I looked up A/C Appliance Masters online and called up Gil. He then came out and pumped Freon in the system. It worked for about an hour. I then called him back and he came back out a few days later. Pumped more freon and left again. About an hour or two later it stopped producing ice again. He came back out about 4 days later and did something and still it did not work. The people in the our warehouse were getting upset there is no ice. I called Gil and he said he will give us a refund and suggested we call a larger company for the repair.
I called Texas Ice Machine Company, Inc. (Dale Smith 214-826-1887) and he came right out and put a new tiny magnet on the part that drops the ice and charged us around $50.00 for the repair. Gil charged us $400.00 +, did not fix it, and procrastinated for weeks on returning our money. Even though on the recipe I was give is stated 3 month warranty. He said he would return our money, but after contacting him more then 5 times about the money I gave up and reported him to a popular agency that handles this type of a rip off. We still have not received the return and this was since last summer. I wanted to take the time to tell 'everyone' not to use this poor excuse for a company.
