Misleading pricing
Contacted company via phone regarding GE cooktop to see if it was in stock . They took my order over the phone .
I expected to receive a full cooktop, but only received two burners, not four .
When I called to investigate, they said I had not ordered the full cooktop and that I would need to fork over an additional $292 .
Their price for the delivered two burner cooktop was non - competitive .
Their price with the additional $292 for the full cooktop was also non - competitive . They pretended that everyone orders half a cooktop and then buys the second half . Let the buyer beware

SHOP HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
This store is doing fraudulent business--they sell damaged goods and then refuse to take them back. They tell you when you buy that they take returns, and then try to charge you a fortune to return their damaged products.
Look up other review sites to see how badly they treat customers. Damaged goods, EXTREMELY HOSTILE customer service representatives, and now that we filed a complaint about them, we've started receiving harassing phone calls.. Plus they keep their phone number blocked.
DON'T BE LURED IN BY LOW PRICES LIKE WE WERE. PAY A LITTLE BIT MORE AND PURCHASE FROM A LEGITIMATE BUSINESS.

HORRI BLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
Unfortunately, I read the customer reviews after I placed my order with Appliances Connection. I placed an order on 6/22/10 and received an email regarding a problem they were having with my credit card...(which when I checked with my bank, all was fine).
I received an email about a problem on Friday 6/25/10...I called the company back about 10 minutes after receiving their email, and got a voice mail...closed, called again Saturday, closed...but the voice mail refers to their website to find info about store hours...doesnt exist on their website. Finally got through to a person who answers the phone (this is a step up from what I wanted to call this individual after he spoke to me the way he did on the phone) I was told there was a problem with the card, and the grill that was tagged for me was sold on Sunday...so I would have to wait for another 2-3 weeks...nothing they could do about it. Basically, not their problem...I told them to cancel my order, and recommended they read the reviews on the internet regarding their business practices. After that first call, I received 4 other calls from Appliances Connection...for my inconvenience, they would throw in a grill cover...(oooo, big deal )...the man I initially spoke with, went so far as to tell me he had over heard the discussion ...it was the same guy!!! Do yourself a favor, and DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY!!! The frustration you will experience, and trust me, you will! Isnt worth the cost of free shipping or any other fee they claim they will save you...I would prefer quality customer service ...
