Delivery fees and terrible service
Paid a total of $250 to have a french door refrigerator delivered and installed and one moved over a few feet to the next room.AM Home Delivry came hours later than promised. All my food defrosted. They ruined some paint on my side kitchen wall. Tried to tell me the connector I purchased at the time of the order was not the right one and I had to pay them $25 for theirs. In the end, couldn't get mine off and used that instead. Said they didn't have to take the door off to get it in because I didn't pay for it, but I showed them that I did on the invoice for 59.99 for that, plus 49.99 for bringing it in the door and 39.99 for moving the other fridge over. Never flushed the water line and the filtered water came out filthy and smelling like plastic. Can't get the odor or taste out. Never leveled the refrigerator even though 99.99 was paid for professional installation. The refrigerator slid across the room when I opened the freezer. Left all the plastic on inside about 20 pieces of tape, etc. Then, after dummy me gave them a tip, they told me that all the trash and box and foam had to be disposed of by me. They didn't do that. Kept me waiting for hours after I had removed the food from my old refrigerator because I was told when I finally talked to a rep, that they would be here in an hour. Came almost two hours after that and didn't get done until around 8. My appt. was for 1-5. I think all of my food is spoiled. Never, ever ever again will I buy from an online appliance co. Cost way more than buying it from a store here with free delivery and haul away.
