They damaged my home upon delivery
I bought a refrigerator from this company. The whole process was a nightmare. I only used this company because the price was lower than most of the vendors. In hindsight, I would have payed the extra money to avoid the aggravation and negative consequences I have experienced with this company. After placing the order, the shipping on my product was delayed, this wasn't a big deal. However, when the delivery men brought this item into my home ( I payed extra for white glove) they didn't use a dolly and scratched my hardwood floors and chipped my crown molding. The delivery men had no idea what they were doing, took almost 3 hours at which time they damaged my floors, dropped the appliance, chipped my molding and were arguing with one another. I have never had such a terrible experience with a delivery company. I called the customer service and informed them of the damage to my home. After 2 days of being put on hold for over 10 minutes I was connected with the shipping manager. This man told me that the company they use for shipping isn't liable for damage to my home, and that i had to submit a claim through my home owners insurance. This was unacceptable and I told him this. He then threatened me that if I took legal action or pursued this that the delivery men could claim injuries and that I would be held responsible. He was obviously trying to bully me but all he did was further implicate himself and demonstrate what anyone would consider to be BAD BUSINESS. I would gladly have paid the extra money to avoid dealing with a company like this.
