overcharged for delivery
Paid a total of $250 to have a french door refrigerator delivered and installed and one moved over a few feet to the next room. They came hours later than promised. All my food defrosted. They ruined some paint on my side kitchen wall. Tried to tell me the connector I purchased at the time of the order was not the right one and I had to pay them $25 for theirs. In the end, couldn't get mine off and used that instead. Said they didn't have to take the door off to get it in because I didn't pay for it, but I showed them that I did on the invoice for 59.99 for that, plus 49.99 for bringing it in the door and 39.99 for moving the other fridge over. Never flushed the water line and the filtered water came out filthy and smelling like plastic. Can't get the odor or taste out. Never leveled the refrigerator even though 99.99 was paid for professional installation. The refrigerator slid across the room when I opened the freezer. Left all the plastic on inside about 20 pieces of tape, etc. Then, after dummy me gave them a tip, they told me that all the trash and box and foam had to be disposed of by me. They didn't do that. Kept me waiting for hours after I had removed the food from my old refrigerator because I was told when I finally talked to a rep, that they would be here in an hour. Came almost two hours after that and didn't get done until around 8. My appt. was for 1-5. I think all of my food is spoiled. Never, ever ever again will I buy from an online appliance co. Cost way more than buying it from a store here with free delivery and haul away.

Worst shipping process
OMG.. The worst online retailed I have come across. I bought a refregirator coz it was cheap as compared to other stores. Its been 4 weeks since I have ordered it and I have not received it as yet. I paid for express shipping!!!

When I called them, they were so rude... the spervisor Calvin Bitman is aweful. He threatens me that I shall cancell the order if I call for delivery again...

BTW, the shipping is not owned by them, so it will be delivered when the shipper has delivery in my area. FYI I live in Princeton NJ and the item is to be shipped from Brooklyn, NY!!!

FRAUD COMPANY
APPIANCESCONNECTION.COM - THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! BUYERS BEWARE! DO NOT TRUST APPLIANCESCONNECTION.COM

I purchased the SUMMIT SCFU1375 11.2 CU.FT Freezer 3 months ago... 3 MONTHS THEY HAVE HAD MY MONEY and it took 2 MONTHS TO EVEN DELIVER!
The Freezer finally arrived at the shipping company in Bangor Maine a month ago. The shipping company immediately called me and told me to REFUSE the delivery because it was damaged. I called customer service and I first got Frank and then later talked to Markus (who was actually Frank in disguise)Trying to refuse a refund. After almost an hour on the phone they said they approved a refund. So I hung up. Then a person from their company called and acted like they were from the shipping company and tried to talk me into the delivery. They said the damage was ONLY on the box. I reluctantly accepted. Then Frank called back trying to reverse the refund. BUT Frank called from the same phone number that the supposed representative of the shipping company called from. Like I am stupid. And like no one in the world has caller ID. I called Frank on the carpet and he called me a “damn fool” but after some yelling, he put “Markus” on the phone and he (Markus and Frank are the same person) said he would submit my refund. It has now been almost 3 weeks and I have not gotten my money back. I have contacted my bank for FRAUD. And a non-authorized charge for $1, 675.00. They said they will have my funds within 48 hours. I have never in my life had to deal with such shady people before. So, BUYERS BEWARE of APPLIANCESCONNECTION.COM
I have bought my Freezer from AJMadison.com and it arrived in 7 days with no problems and $100 cheaper…

So far my experience with this retailer has been less then stellar. I ordered a oven on 10-3-10, and after waiting for 5 days for the oven ship (during which time we received no notifications on what the heck was going on with our order, it was finally shipped by "Manna Distribution services" on 10-8-10, which is where my real problems begin. Somehow they shipped my order to another state! I logged a ticket with their customer service and was told that they would contact the carrier to bring the oven to my correct address and they would call me. Three days later I still haven't heard from the shipping company, and every time I call I get a recording, despite calling during what they call there normal business hours. We're expecting our firstborn at the end of the month, and can't be without a oven, so we are looking into other options. I am getting increasingly frustrated with appliancesconnection.com, and their customer service. All we want is the product you charged us for, nothing more... I really think they are trying to wait out the 30 day window on my credit card and hope I don't do I chargeback... boy are they going to be surprised if I don't hear back from them soon.

**update** I've heard back from Tony at Appliance connection and he has arrange delivery for our stove on 10-19-10 and gave us an upgraded 3-year warranty and shipping for our trouble. I'll post more after the actual arrival of the merchandise.

**NEW UPDATE**
I can't say it was a surprise, but my "delivery" had to be re-scheduled because the shipper was unable to meet the delivery window. Now we have to make sure someone is available on Thursday. I have my doubts it will even be delivered then...

**FINAL UPDATE** Company delivered the wrong color stove (we ordered white, got black) and on top of that it was damaged! I called customer service and got told I'd have to wait another ten days to get the correct stove! Requested return and refund. They got their stove back, we still haven't gotten out money back. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. THEY ARE DISHONORABLE AND FAIL TO DELIVER ON ANY OF THE EXPECTED TERMS OF SALE!!

Damaged goods, poor customer service
I also have an ongoing issue with this same company, I ordered a beverage cooler in 06/2010 after several (5-6) weeks it arrived. Upon opening the unit, my contractor noticed that the unit looked like it had been dropped since the door hinge was out of alignment and the corners were dented in. A closer examination has shown that it looks like this is a used unit that was supposed to be new. I have contacted the company by both phone calls and by E-mail with pictures of the damage. The two names I get are Frank (With a heavy East Indian male accent) and Andy (At ext. #2071)?? no idea who that is. It has been over a month since that last e-mail stating that they would order a new door and have a GE tech come to the house to fix it. I am seriously thinking of lodging a formal complaint with the BBB and the local P.D. (NYPD) I think they are out of N.Y.C. (*******use EXTREME caution if you see a deal with these guys!!!) At this point I would be happy with a simple refund and buying a new unit at a local store for a few more $$$$$
