I had been applying on line to do typing jobs. I paid Data Entry Bucks and started doing all the testing. I type 120 WPM and couldn’t figure out why I did not receive any calls or was not hired by any of the companies.

DAVE from DATA ENTRY BUCKS contacted me.
(866.540.6174) ex 1123. Explained his back ground and Mr. Hunter Smith from Apply Knowledge was his senior. He was in charge of getting students. Would explain market testimonies. He would give me directions on how to build a online business.

SPOKE to HUNTER SMITH from Apply Knowledge.
Discuss signing up with Apply KI. Explained to him at one point I didn’t have a lot of money. He discussed using other peoples money. I also explained I had food poisoning and maybe I should wait till I feel better. He thought I should get started right away.

Mr. Smith told me I should make $200 or $300 my first month to pay for credit card payment I would be using to get started with the course. Then income should go to $2, 000 or $3, 000 by my 2nd month, then $10, 000 by 3rd . We would focus on me making enough to pay credit card payments. He said these numbers are usual results from his students. Official registration will be recorded. He explained I would be assigned a coach to help me.

I ASKED Hunter Smith to please GIVE ME A PATIENT COACH that was funny.
I am dyslexic and I have a severe learning disability. Plus I’m old and brain doesn’t work as fast. I explained it will take way longer for me to learn, but once I do I’ll be okay and will succeed if they could take the time to teach me. He assured me I would be given a patient coach that would go slow enough. I was also concerned WHAT to sell. He “assured” me they would help me find something to sell.

I asked if they were a member of the BBB. Mr. Hunter said yes, check us out.
I did and they had an “A” rating, so I proceeded.

JASON ~ Registered me. Recorded conversation. I was sent a contract from Affiliates Online, LLC, 7251 West Lake Mead Blvd, Ste #300, Las Vegas, NV 89128 866.684.4128, [email protected]. $4700 processing fee was put on my Chase Credit Card. Answer with “yes” and “no”. Explained one on one training. If I didn’t recoup my initial investment they will work with me until I recoup my $4700.00. (Just found out no such place at this address)

THEY HANDLE the business part. Financial will be explained later to me.
Capital leverage OPM (other people’s money will be used)
Leverage other peoples money to make money.

By the time I get the bill for the credit card, I will be making money.
TUITION tools for learning will be sent to me.
Will show me what to do In a student / teacher relationship.
They don’t want a dime to come out of my pocket.

One time upfront investment for life. No additional investment at any other time.
Once I have knowledge I can repeat it over and over. They will start helping me build a website, point and click. Then I will pay them $39.95 per month after I get going for the monthly fee on the website. Web builder that has search engines, shopping cart attached, extra tool. Webinar online classroom. They have two webinars a week. CPA’s will come in to help me set up everything. Schedules are at the first of the week. Archived so you can look back.

GOAL AND FOCUS
Fully recoup my investment within 30 to 90 days in business.
10 to 15 hours a week is what I need to work.
My assigned Mentor will show me how to use my time better.

LEVERAGE pay the credit card back when money comes back.
HE PLACES A WARRANTY that we recoup until broke even and get into profit.

THEY TEACH how to build and sell, How to market and advertise.
Drop shipper sends product out for me. Eliminates my risk. I don’t have to store product. A TRILLION on the internet at Christmas.

TWO QUESTIONS I asked them. What do I market?
Was told If you have something to sell they will buy it.
I will get help in finding products I will be able to sell.

Coaches are easy to reach and will help me. Always be learning new techniques
Proactive phase, I will be attached by the hip. Require two things. All business decisions pass by my mentor before making. I will start getting emails. They don’t want me to sign up with other companies. GOING TO SCHEDULE one meeting per week with my mentor. Going to have one mentor, like Bob. Going to be taking me by my hand, going over lesson plans, giving assignments, do homework. Answering any questions I have. If I have questions, call Bob.

LESSON ONE. Steve my coach sent first assignment to me. I did it and sent back to him. At 7:30 pm Steve reviewed my contacts and assignments. He said to start with EBay. Get a good rating. I thought it was kind of a short lesson. I don’t know much about EBay, that’s why I took this course, was hoping he would help with that. Finally figured out how to get a better rating with Ebay.

Brandon Smith called and said I need to sign up with WHOLESALEMATCH.com and pay $400 to have access to suppliers. He said they usually charge $800 for the year, but I only had to pay $400. I explained I can’t keep spending money, he said this would be the last time I had to pay anything.

LESSON TWO. Steve gave me assignments. He said to pick only one nitch. I thought that is going to be pretty hard to do. Seemed like he was in a hurry to go somewhere. I told him NO ONE has contacted me yet to help me. He said someone should have contacted me for setting up my company. I was concerned because I asked him how did I know that the product from wholesalematch.com would be available to dropship from the product I was selling. He said I didn’t. If they ran out of product I simply refund the buyers money. I thought to myself I don’t think it works like that. I was confused, cried after he hung up. He seems young and rude. Not learning cause I don’t understand.

LESSON THREE with Steve. He’s a pomus young kid. Cried for two days. Not sure what to do. Spending a lot of time trying to figure this course out. No one has called to help me yet. I need to call Mr. Hunter Smith and find out why I’m not getting any help and ask for a new coach as he promised a special one.

SICK. Sent E-mail asking for a short extension. Elio seco valve not working. Causing food to back up like food poisoning. Coach Steve doesn’t seem to be too happy with me. Stress is making it worse. He never did help me with a product. I finally suggested western jewelry. He had me try to find a supplier for some western jewelry by contacting wholesalematch.com. I looked a long time for days. Found one company that was recommended and I liked the western jewelry they had. I called them, they didn’t know what I was talking about! They had never heard of wholesalematch.com or Apply Knowledge. Have been looking again but the ones I like I have to buy wholesale and put out more money on my credit card which was full. I thought my coach would help me a little more, my notes said he would advise good ideas or not ??

I never got a call from Apply Knowledge or anyone else to help me set up a LLC company. I finally called the Small Business Development Center out of Pueblo and they helped me. It took a lot of time and a whole day to drive to the nearest office. More money spent setting up a LLC company. I got my name registered, Ein number, resale license, etc. It was a small nightmare trying to figure all of this out. I have to get this down pretty soon, credit cards are going to come in and I don’t have the funds to pay them.

Called Steve back. I explained I can’t understand how to work the $200 a day deal that he had assigned. I explained that by the time you pay E-bay and paypal, not enough profit left over for me to make any money. I don’t understand the course.
I explained I had joined wholesalematch.com and done what they said and searched for a supplier with a product I could market. After days of searching I finally found a supplier. As suggested by APPLY I contacted the supplier. They NEVER heard of wholesalematch or APPLY KI. I had spent a lot of time and stress finding this company. Then I explained all the other companies I found wanted money upfront to purchase the product. I was told I didn’t have to spend more money in beginning.

All he can do is put me on hold. He said he already put my account on hold from 12/16/10. Told me to call the person I first talked to. Told him I did. Told him Hunter Smith was gone for 2 months. Told me to call the business development back.

Seems like the company is falling apart since Hunter Smith left.
They have NOT kept their word and done the many things they promised in exchange for the money I paid.
NO WEBSITE.
NO COMPANY to set up my LLC ever called to help.
NO HELP DECIDING WHAT TO SELL.
NO PRODUCT TO DROP SHIP.
NO PATIENT COACH FOR MY LEARNING DISABILITIES.
A TOTAL OF 66 minutes OF COACHING. (waste of time)
NO SURVEY QUESTIONNAIRES to keep track of me.
PROMISED TRAINING and WEBINARS.
WAS PROMISED I WOULD MAKE $10, 000 per month by 3rd month.
HUNTER SMITH would never return for calls for HELP. (as he agreed)
THEY SAID ONLY $4700.00 and no MORE MONEY. (YA RIGHT).

I have been printing my phone records. It shows how many times they called me and how many I called them begging for help. The stress is getting unbearable.

Policy said I had three days to cancel, been working at it too long to cancel now.

Told him I took a medical leave with email on 12.16.09 to Steve. He said can’t get me out of the program. Maybe he can pull some strings and make credit card payments until I can get going again. Told him I told Mr. Hunter in the beginning that I was sick, dyslexic and had a learning disability and he said he would find a coach that could help me. Told him I worked a lot of hours and can’t figure any of their course out. Doesn’t make sense and leads never heard of them.

Told him I was told by APPLY that a company would call and help me with my business license and tax number. No one ever called. I spent a month figuring that out. Told him that No surveys came to find out how I was doing. He said he’s heard of these issues and he will research this. He said he would have to talk to the Board and find out what he could do. He never called back.

Chase credit card sent a postcard saying “We are pleased to tell you we have resolved your dispute and credited $4700 to my Chase account. The $4700 was put back on my credit card and I thought that was the end of it.

I have received a total of 66 minutes of coaching, bad and rude at that. I am not using their course. I have no website and no idea how to use their program.

Received letter from Chase saying “they can not provide a final resolution because a second opinion letter from a reputable merchant to substantiate my claim that the services performed by the disputed merchant were of poor quality”. WHAT? Chase credit card charged and put back on my credit card $4700 for the scaming cons.

Megan from APPLY KNOWLEDGE called me! Megan said she was calling from the scheduling department to schedule a lesson with Steve. I asked her why was she calling me after seven months had gone by??? “No I don’t want a lesson, I want a refund”. These people have no glue what’s going on. Coach Steve was one of the reasons this whole thing started going sideways. Don’t they understand I kept calling to get a coach I could work with??

Received a package from Chase Credit Card saying if the merchant does not agree a credit is due they cannot retrieve my funds. They contacted 866.716.3099 and talked to Dave Sellers 801.806.0593. He lied and said “Robin contacted them on July 1, 2010 and advised them that she did not want to continue and do not call her”. (according to my phone records I DID NOT CALL THEM.) Where is the last message I called on 6.8.10 Again looking for Hunter Smith and left a message.
He NEVER returned my call.

Also a letter from Ken Sonnenberg, president Apply Knowledge Institute (801) 305.3245 [email protected] was enclosed. What’s this guy smoking? He lied and said “we have conducted multiple online webinars, seminars. . . instructors include attorneys, eBay PowerSellers, online business owners, among others. We have sent Ms Robin Schwarz a weekly email invitation to those classes.” (I NEVER GOT ANY OF THESE). He said Robin now has “proprietary information” and I gleaned valuable knowledge for several months. Geez I can’t even understand how the damn thing works. He also said my coach left a message on Dec. 16th and they have not heard from me since or been able to reach me. (see 12.16.09 notes and dates I called and begged for help). I guess Coach Steve failed to tell him it was Steve’s idea to put me on hold on 12.16.09.

I sent someone to Las Vegas Nevada to the address that was on the bottom of my contract that I received back from Apply Knowledge after I paid my $4700.00 on my credit card.

The contract I had received when I signed up said:

The investigator I sent to this address said the whole floor of Ste 300 belongs to Bank of Nevada. After interviewing “Debbie” the receptionist at the desk that takes all the calls at this address, said she has never heard of:
Simplified Marketing, Apply Knowledge, EVertex or Affiliates Online, LLC.

Another girl walked into the reception area and was asked if she had ever heard of any of these companies. She also said “NO”. The investigator showed her a copy of my contract and verified he was at the correct address. The receptionist also tried to help by calling the phone numbers on the contract and they were disconnected.

I looked up Affiliates Online and Simplified Marketing with the BBB.
They both have an “F” rating.

My question is: If Apply Knowledge can’t even figure out that two companies they are dealing and working with are cheats or scams, how do they expect to have enough knowledge to teach students how to be successful?

I have been looking on the Internet trying to find information on these companies.

Complaints filed as of today for Apply Knowledge.
69 complaints on “Complaints Board”.
06 complaints on “RIPOFFREPORT”.
16 complaints on “BBB”.

To date I have not been able to find anyone that has actually found a real address for any of these companies. (Not to say there isn’t one) Most letters are undeliverable and one registered letter asking for cancellation was sent back from a UPS store box number #1540. (not a real office).

I have been working with the BBB in Utah but so far Apply Knowledge has just written lies and crap and refused to give me a refund.

I have been reading the other complaints from Complaint Board and RIPOFFREPORT. They all seem to have the same M.O. Target people on the phone (people unable to check them out in person) that are desperate to make money and con them into using their credit cards. Then they don’t deliver or help the people and the people finally give up because they can’t afford a lawyer. (read the 74 year old and the 90 year old).

SAD THIS WOULD HAPPEN IN AMERICA. My Dad that flew and served in three wars is probably turning over in his grave.
