Bought a filter grid system shown on their website for 502.00 I called and spoke to Nathan on May 24th to make sure the product was available and that it was the correct part, and then ordered from him. I was billed on May 26th to my VISA. When I received it on May 28th, it was not assembled and incomplete. They have a 45 day no restocking fee return policy. I called for an RMA. It took almost 3 weeks to get one. They were trying to get one from their distributor, Optimus, in Tenn. Finally on June 18th, I received it. They had me send it to their wholesaler Parcel Post. I had no tracking number, just an RMA number. VISA can't help me because I have no tracking number. Aqua-Man must have known this but I didn't.
Now they say they won't refund my money until the wholesaler refunds theirs. I called the wholesaler, Optimus in Tennessee, to confirm receipt of the product. Debra said they had received it and sent it back to the manufacturer because it was defective. They were waiting for the refund from the manufacturer and then they would refund Aqua-Man, who then would refund me!!! That's like buying from Best Buy and then you don't get your refund until Sony refunds their wholesaler who then refunds them...for a defective product, no less. Who knows if and when I'll receive a refund at all. Filed a complaint with the Tuscon BBB. Maybe they'll help.
DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE.
The told me numerous times when they received the product they had no problem refunding me the money. I emailed the owner of the "business", Scott Lake, since on the website it says if you have problems to contact him. I've heard nothing back from him.
