SNEAKY REPS!
My complaint is NO SUPPORT SYSTEM, LADIES DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING TO HELP YOU GET YOUR BUSINESS STARTED AND THEY TELL YOU TO DO EVERY THING ONLINE ~ THE TRAINING, ETC. AND READ THE MANUALS...
.HA!! I called around and found a Rep that was an Area Manager and was told SHE can't help me because I didn't sign up UNDER HER and to call the lady that signed me up!!! ARBONNE IS NOT WHAT IT CLAIMS TO BE! ! ! !
I joined Arbonne to be a consultant. The lady that signed me up, Barbara, stated she would help me get started and I wouldn't have to order anything to get started. She told me she would help me with anything I needed and call her with any questions. After I signed up, she didn't get in contact with me anymore and wouldn't answer my calls. I finally got her on the phone, she said she didn't know what to do with me because all she does is sign up people to get a discount on their orders!!! WHAT??????????????

Misleading
I went to an Arbonne party; there I was told about the wonderful Swiss formulations. It is Swiss law that only natural ingredients be in products. With all the cancer causing agents in products today, I bought several different items. However, $100 later, I still ended up with a body wash that had Disodium Laurth Sulfosuccinate listed as the second ingredient. That very ingredient was discussed at the party as a harmful ingredient. I would much rather spend $5 on Dove soap, then $25 on "Swiss formulated made in the U.S." body wash.

Requires Social Security number
My biggest complaint is that they require Social Security Numbers to buy product as a "consultant." At home parties, people are encouraged to sign up as consultants to get 35% off the products they buy. What a deal. And nothing else is required except paying $29 to be a consultant. I'm not complaining here about the pyramid-scheme structure of the company (and please don't argue with this, because if you think that's not what's going on, you've got your head in the sand OR you're benefiting from it), nor am I complaining about the overpriced mediocre products, nor am I complaining about the fact that in order to succeed recruits have to *exploit* their familial and friend relationships (and this last point is the most morally egregious facet of the organization). I am complaining that they require people's social security numbers to sign up as a "consultant." In theory, if a consultant ever makes money (the vast majority don't...they just want to buy the products), the company by law is required to file an IRS form 1099. That's no big deal. However, the company ensures that new business owners gently COERCE their family and friends into becoming "consultants" and thereby providing social security numbers. How can a sister/daughter/mother say no to her family member's efforts to begin a new business? The crux of the matter is that Arbonne has set up a company that exploits family and friends to benefit people up the chain of command. It's disgusting and immoral. But what really irks me is that they require social security numbers, which put people at risk for identity theft FOR NO GOOD REASON. Arbonne could easily restructure the program so that SSN are not needed to keep the business going.

They left me hanging
Initially teased with the small investment package, then came the bomb. You wouldn't make a dime with that package, just buy the product at a different price. Told one thing, then another after investing $1500, left hanging with little or no support-when I complained, no one returned calls. When a client was chemically burned and wrote a letter to the "company" she never heard a word! What kind of company lets this go on? Also, now that I have personally used the product going on 3 years, guess what??? it's not that great!!! Department store equivalent!

unprofessional procedures
When I was placing my first order the rep at the end of placing my order asked for my social security number. I asked why she had to have that information. Her response was that she should have told me up front but in order to place an order you had to sign up to be a consultant. I told her that although I might be interested in the future it seemed premature to sign up to consult on a product you had not even tried. However, I had heard that the product was excellent so I went with it. I also paid an additional amount to receive a 35% discount on furture orders. My original order was made l/8/08.
Last night I attempted to purchase more product on line at www.arbonne.com with the 35% discount and a red information communication stated that although I would be getting the 35% discount I would be taxed on the full retail price of these products. In other words I will be taxed at the full price not the discounted price. Isn't this fradulant. I have never purchsed anything on sale and had to pay taxes above the discounted amount.
Due to the feeling that this company is obtaining peoples ss# and taxing on retail price instead of sale price there have been all types of red flags mentally popping up.
What's up with this?

So I tried by myself and did I make it NO... i lost all the money we made and then some?!?!? i like how my UP LINE was wanting to run a christian base business and I was in a fraud and lost more money than I should have ever put into this and My mother this is what makes me mad she works 40 hours a week and had my brother in physical therapy for surgery that he had to have on his leg TENDON LENGHING and they STILL PRESSURED her to come to meetings when she had a child at home in a body cast... And then my cousin was doing good with her down line and my upline decides she is not moving fast enough?!?! And calls her downline to pressure them one girl just had a mis carriage told them this and the still pressured her to do as much as POSSIBLE?!?! Excuse me for worrying about my downlines feelings over YOUR money!!! No offense against Arbonne I love the products still use them WILL NEVER PUT ANY EFFORT toward my up line EVER again!!! Thanks for nothing.
