I gave a 30 day notice to move in May that I would be moving when my lease ended which was July 14. I took pictures of the place and everything was left the same way that I had moved in and I get a collection bill from them for over $2, 000. Our rent was 1500.00 a month and they were holding our deposit of 1515.00 and we were told by other tenants and I also looked up rippoff report online that usually tenants do not get there deposit back so we decided to allow them to keep the deposit which is the same amount of the rent and that would be the end. But they are such liars and I have receipts for paying may and june and they are saying that I did not pay may and june. What I did not pay was July because that was the end of our lease. I think they have gotten away with this to much but what they dont understand is that I have video and pictures of the entire apartment and receipts of payments paid. I need to contact legal help do you know anybody I can contact. I know that there is or was a class action lawsuit against agyros which is the owner for keeping deposits from hispanics and asians that is what the report says.
