Purchased an Arrow Shed Build-It-Yourself Special Order Building from the Home Depot store. The model I purchased is the 1431, it is 14 feet wide by 31 feet long, with standard Wayne-Dalton roll-up garage door, to store a boat. This is the largest Arrow Shed product available, and by far the most expensive in thier product line. Upon delivery I noticed everything was flat-packed and on 2 pallets. It sure didnt seem like much, until the boxes were opened. Literally Hundreds of pieces, all galvanized steel. And THOUSANDS of tiny screws. The assembly instructions were EXTREMELY frusterating to follow, and the diagrams were often times incorrect, showing the wrong assembly method for a specific piece. I STRONGLY recommend to anyone who thinks about buying an ArrowShed product that they have a professional install and build this product, or maybe consider building a shed from scratch with plans and wood. Even with construction experience, the build process is extremely frustrating and requires at least 2-3 people simultaneusly hold peices together. After assembly, the quality of the building is not that great. It is sturdy enough for the boat, but hopefully a heavy wind never comes. The sheet metal siding acts as a sail in the wind, and even with it anchored to a poured concrete slab in 40 places, i fear it may someday end up floating down the nearby Tualatin River. The total expense paid after delivery, concrete, and the kit itself was in excess of $5800.00. That does not take into account the 2 weeks spent assembling it with 2 other guys, and the additional day with parts wiring it for electrical.
