In December 2007 I signed up for a subscription for the Artists Magazine. It was a Christmas gift from a friend and we filled out the online registration form together (she filled out the payment details). With the subscription came a free gift (Secret to Successful Drawing).
I received a December 2007 issue but not the free gift. Than I did not receive the issues of January and February 2008. When I called them about this and the free gift they promised to take care of it and ship the items. Never happened.
I received March to September of 2008 and then it stopped.
I asked about the missing issues and they answered that they could not give them anymore. But because I was missing those magazines they would extend my subscription until March 2009. That was very nice if I would have received the magazines of those months but I did not.
I called them again and now it became really interesting. The customer service lady said that she could see that my subscription was extended but they could not give me the magazines that I paid for. In addition she told me in order to get my promised free gift from 2007 I have to sign up for a new subscription.
As you will understand I did not and will not recommend this magazine to anyone else! Their customer service is horrible!
