Bad service
purchase a sofa/loveseat less that three months old and the material on it is defective. They sent out a person to look at it and of course it is something that "is not" covered under their warranty It has taken a month to even get a manager to call me back and then they inform me (very rudely) that they will not do anything about it. I paid over $2200 for this junk and they tell me that's to bad. I recommend that anyone thinking of purchasing anything from them to go somewhere else. Before I knew that they weren't going to do anything about the funiture I had also purchased a bedroom set for my grand draughter that was over a $1, 000 and I still haven't received it and they still charged it to my credit card where I have to pay interest from the date of purchase. I was told that I would receive this in two weeks and it's been over three weeks and she is sleeping on a ballet on the floor. I told them that they weren't suppose to charge that to my account until I received the item and they told me they were allowed to do that. I told them that I wanted to cancel my order and they informed me that "they would not cancel it and it didn't matter if they told me three weeks, that they could take as long as they wanted to and there is nothing I can do about it. I called the credit card company and they are sending me disbute forms and I will also file a complaint with the better business breau. Unfortunately, their warranty with the small disclosure statement is on the back of the receipt they give you after you purchase the items. Make sure you read it within a day or two or you will also be stuck with junk.

Warranty was not honored
I bought leather furniture from Ashely store in Findlay store 3 years ago and I also bought the warranty with it. The furniture started peeling about 6 months after I got it. Ashley store recovered the 3 pieces. About 8 months later it started peeling again. I called the warrenty place and they would not cover it because they said it was to many spots to fix. I had Ashley store person come out to look at it and they said it would cost me 625 dollars to repair it even though I still have a warranty on it. Help. I bought this furniture from findlay ohio. I have done all my furniture buying from them and now I'm tired

Waiting to receive my furniture
I purchased some furniture for Ashley Furniture in Columbia, SC and had a delivery day of 6 April 2010. On 5 April, we received a phone call that stated we will not receiving the furniture until 22 April because they didn't have any of the style of furniture in their warehouse. My wife was told that we would receive a $150.00 in store gift card because of the mix up. She was also informed my the sales man in the local store that he would call to see if we can get it by 14 April.

The next week, we were told that 22 April would be the earliest that we would receive the furniture. I called to speak to the local salesman and he informed me that we just need to wait, that the best they could do for us. Question, why are we waiting? The reason why we asked for a delivery day was so that we could get rid of the furniture that was in the room for the new furniture. I spoke to the local store manger and he informed me that 22 April could change again. What is the deal with this store? We have paid for the furniture but haven't received it. I have canceled the order and now we have to wait two to three weeks to get our money back. Why? I am not pleased...

Still have no furniture
I purchase $2000 worth of furniture in May and received an estimated delivery date of July. This date has been changed 5 times now and its been 14 weeks. The document I signed states that it could take up to 12 weeks. I still have no furniture and they have given me another estimated date of sometime next week but I doubt that they will be keeping their word on that.

Literally they suck
I shopped at ashley furniture when we bought a new house i bought 3 queen size bedroom sets living room and den, kitchen set and tables. We were told it would be in in 2 weeks.Well then they said another week okay that did not happen but we were not in a hurry. they delivered finally. they apoligized and said that never happens ok.So stuppid me tells my brother in law oh go to ashley so he does we spent 4 hour picking out furniture literly yous suck.

Failed to deliver as promissed, lied
Well so far I am not happy with Ashley Furniture, we bought our sectional on February 22nd and we were promised delivery on march 5th, then on 3/16, then on 3/19 and now they are telling me our sectional will arrive on 3/26. I think what makes me most upset is that I was told the sectional would be on the truck on 3/16 and the corporate offices are telling me there is a manufacturers delay...so what is it actually.

Before march 5th we gave our old couch away to our roommate who moved out on the 2nd of march. And now, we are currently sitting on patio furniture and that really *** me off.

Had I known that we would have so many delays, I would have gone to another furniture store. We have never had problems like this at any other furniture store.

Damaged furniture and poor service
The server we ordered took a month to come in. The day before it was to be delivered I had to call them to see what time it would be delivered because nobody had called as they are supposed to. When I called I was put on hold, then someone else answered and asked what I was calling for and put on hold, then again same thing and then put through to delivery where it was a voice mail system. I called back asked to speak to a supervisor who then got me the information finally. It was delivered the next day with broken doors. Refused delivery and waited another month for a new one. Had same problems with service. Nobody called and no information was available. I complained to corporate in WI and they said they are not affiliated with Gonzales, LA store. Could not get a definite date of delivery. Many problems!! Finally they delivered a weeks later with more broken doors and split wood. Refused again and demanded a refund for item and delivery charge for all the issues. Never will shop Ashley Furniture again. I went to V. Watts in Livingston and got same item shipped next day without a two month wait and cheaper than Ashley Furniture.

AS IS Policy Stinks!
I think that Ashley Furniture's "As Is" policy is unfair to consumers. If you purchase anything off their showroom floor (i.e. lamp, rug, decoration), you may not return it under any circumstances. I attempted to return a rug and two lamps that still had the Ashley Furniture price tags on them and they would not accept them as a return. I spent over $700 for these items. My plans changed and I do not need them anymore. They have never been used. I wanted them to deliver the items instead of buying them off the floor, but that was not an option. I can't understand why they will accept something that has been delivered to the consumer as a return; but not something that the consumer purchases off of the showroom floor.

I sent an email to [email protected] and received a trite response from Shannon Burris as follows:

"Thank you for your correspondence. We regret that you disagree with the nature of our AS IS policy. Unfortunately, accessories or other as-is items cannot be warrantied, serviced or returned. We are sorry to have lost your business."

It does not look like Ashley Furniture cares about their customer, nor do they care if their customer ever returns!!

Delivered late and poor quality
Ordered from Ashley Furniture and was told that furniture would be delivered on a certain date (within about a week of the order). Got a rather rude call the afternoon before the delivery date explaining that the largest piece was damaged or split, and it would be another week or so before delivery. Waited another week and finally received the furniture and *every single piece* was wobbly or in some cases had legs that were not at a right angle to the base.

Delivery men were nice enough but explained that we'd have to send the entire set back to get a new table (it was that bad), or have someone out to repair the legs. Requested this, and have not heard from them again in over a week.

Will never shop there again, lesson learned.

DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE
Ashley Home Store SUCKS.
I paid $1, 700 for a sectional couch. Two pieces were delivered, but the third would not fit into my apartment's elevator. I was told the third piece could be "cut in half" so it would fit into the elevator. Fine. Oh and I'd have to pay an extra $200 for this service because I'm supposed to know if the fucking couch will fit. First of all, the furniture store should be aware enough to ask questions like that, not just to get a sale. Plus, when I bought it I was in the process of moving and would have no way of knowing the dimensions of the elevator.
So, today my disassembled couch was redelivered and guess what, it wouldn't fit AGAIN. Why? Because, duh, the elevator isn't tall enough to fit it. The idiot who took it apart did not spit it in half. All he or she did was take the back off. No shit it won't fit.
So, once again, I am couchless and was told to expect a phone call.
Never buy anything from Ashley Furniture unless you can pick it up yourself. They're delivery is awful. And you will probably be without the furniture you bought for at least a month.
I say, go to IKEA.
