Horrible service
Please listen to me if you are considering purchasing furniture from ashley furniture. This is the most horrible furniture store in the world. When you first walk into the store they will kiss you behind just to make you buy something. I spend 3000 dollars on just love seat and sofa, i had to wait for over a month for delivery not only that but the service i got after they took my money was unbelievable. They kept telling me lies about when it will arrive and customer service was horrible. I guess after they get your money there is no service with them. I will never go back to that store in my life, I went to roomstogo for my dining and bedroom furniture and its already here. This just unacceptable and i hope they all go to ***. They are just money hungry bastards please do not shop there.

Bad service
Bought my first house a few months ago. Needed some new furniture, including a bed. The day after Thanksgiving, I woke up early (6 a.m.) to make it to the Ashley Furniture early-bird sale. Purchased more than $2, 000 worth of merchandise, including the bed.

Several weeks ago, the furniture was delivered, all but my footboard and headboard. Footboard didn't arrive; headboard was broken. I was OK with that because accidents do happen. This past Monday I contacted the store to find out where my bed was ... to be delivered Wednesday. Today I find out that while the merchandise did arrive, the headboard is broken and that it could be another TEN days before I get my bed.

I tried to explain to the woman that I have been sleeping on the floor and all I want is my bed. She tried to appease me with bringing out a loaner bed frame and $75 gift certificate. I told her that doesn't help me with the problem of all the boxes filled with bed rails and frame. And why would I want to shop at Ashley again? Then she offered a merchandise certificate for the full amount of the bed. How does that help me? I will still have to wait for a bed.

In this time of economic turmoil, for a company to totally disregard a valid request of a good customer is nothing but ludicrous. I will never return to Ashley Furniture. I don't care what kind of sales it has. I don't do business with companies that are either moronic or unethical.

Customer Service

I asked her how does that help me since I would still have to wait for a bed. All I want is my bed ... the one I paid for. Geez.

No satisfaction at all. I will NEVER shop at Ashley again. Ever. I don't care what kind of sales it has. In this economy for a company to totally dismiss a valid request from who-could-have-been a return customer (remember I just bought a house) is completely insane. Don't need 'em; don't want 'em.

Broken after 4 days
I purchased a reclining couch from Ashley Furniture and 4 days after I purchased it, the mechanism inside broke. I had to take time off of work to have their customer service come and take a look at it. Now two weeks later, they still refuse to replace the couch. They expect me to take time off of work so they can come and repair the couch.

I have asked them to replace it and they refuse. I have talked to several "managers" and no one really seems to care about customer satisfaction. The managers keep passing the buck and three weeks later I still have a broken couch.

I can't recline on it, no one cares. It was a $1000 piece of furniture and I (according to Ashley Furniture) am stuck with it.

Received wrong product
I spent $1700 on a mattress set and was delivered the next step down. Rather than admitting their mistake, they claim I received a "defective" set from the manufacturer and that a company representative would contact me.

No company rep has called. I contacted them again. Still waiting for someone to contact me. Now I'm left having to contact the BBB and other agencies trying to get some action.

$1700 is a lot of money to spend and not receive the item your ordered.

If you are buying furniture - read reviews and heed them!

I made a fairly large purchase and have no mattress to sleep on - needless to say painful back and sleepless nights are not enjoyable. Am I pissed? It is very upsetting that no one at Ashley cares to give customer service.

I do not recommend Ashley Furniture Stores to anyone!

Buy elsewhere.

The purchase process was smooth the delivery was on th date promised. But then it went down hill. One of the chairs I got was damaged so had them to take it back. Customer service said call back in 4 days, then 1day after that they promise to call you back I mean 3 different people have told me that they would. None have returned my calls. After checking out the different web sites and the better business bureau. This is common practice with Ashley and there customers. Whenever they get around to you is when you will here from. I will file my complaint with the better business bureau and that's the first and the last time of giving my hard earned money assley furniture

Warranty scam
I had a piece of furnture I bought in June and it was damaged when they delivered it. It still has not been replaced. I also bought a leather couch from them and picked up the 10 year warranty. I can not get anyone to look at my couch. Ashley sells the warranty and then washers their hands of any issues. I would never shop there again and unless you want to get ripped off I recommend you don't eiter. We have been calling Ashley for several months written letters and they keep ingnoring the request to fix or replace our furniture.

Bad quality, bad service
I would not buy any thing any more from these stores. We went to buy a bed room and living room set. The sales man was very friendly and told that the sets we chose are in stock and everything will be delivered on time. No body followed up for the delivery and when I called the stored, they told that the bed is out of stock and can be delivered after a month. Then they deliverd a broken couch and dresser and its been a week and yet to hear back when they are going to replace. They did not even have the decency to keep me informed.

Poor quality
I bought a living room set from Ashley 16 months ago and the thread around the cushions started to unravel 4 moths after purchasing. I have been in contact with the manager as well as corporate office and they are still telling me it's a defect but their looking into it. I'm still not able to return nor exchange and I payed $2, 700 in cash. Had I known your furniture was overrated I would have never walked through those doors. I'm not sure I will ever be refunded. Then I wonder if they have taken advantage of because I'm old.

Do not shop there
Ashley furniture in Jackson TN is glad to take your money but they will not give your money back at the store.

I found out the hard was I call and ask if I could get a refund, Bennett the store manage said sure I drove 50 mile to the store and was told that the corporate office would mail me a check.

The manage told me they did not need my business. All I wanted them to do was deliver one day early, I was paying $39.95 for delivery to my house.

I will never shop at Ashley furniture again.
