Scam
We bought furniture from Ashley Furniture in 09, with a 24 month no interest no payment plan. I have paid payments every month to Citi bank without any problems..now 24 months later I receive a bill for interest accumulated over 24 months..WTFREAKING ***!! I have wasted 2400 dollars just to have to pay it again in interest that never ends? Is there nothing I can do? I can't afford 24% interest and was hoping just to pay the rest off..but now I don't know what to do...please someone give me some advise...or a good lawyer..

Tired of the excuses
My husband and I purchased a $1500.00 entertainment center, from Ashley furniture home store in Tampa Fla. The glass in the tiers has something on them that will not come off. There a mess. Well, that was Jan. 3 2011. It is now Fe.14, 2011. When I call the store they answer the phone but they put you on hold and no one takes the call. There customer service dept. sent new glass shelfs in the mail by u.p.s. 2 times, both times the glass arrived broke. Every person we take to about this problem tells us something different. I am tired of the run around. They tell you they will call you back right away and we receive no call. This problem is still not resolved. Apparently Ashley Home store dosen"t care about the complaints they receive.

Horrible service
I WILL NEVER BUY FROM HERE AGAIN. We ordered a dining room table on 11/13/10. We asked if it would be possible to have it by Thanksgiving. The sales lady said it could be possible but would not guarantee (fine ok). We also ordered a bunk bed set too. Well come December 1st they finally call to schedule delivery of the bunk bed and the table but said that they could only deliver the chairs because the table arrived in Lubbock damaged. They said they could repair it and send it to us. I told them flat out NO that I did not spend almost $2K for a damaged/repaired table. I told them I wanted a NEW one. She got pissy with me and said that it could take up to 6 weeks to get in another one. I said I did not care. So I was told they would place an order for a new one. They delivered the bed and chairs for our table on Dec 6. Well on Dec 29th I called to inquire as to where our new table was. ( I spoke with Barbara the manager in Midland) who said it was due to arrive in Lubbock later that week. Ok fine! So we waited actually until the following week which was now January 2011. I called because I still had not heard from them. I spoke with Barbara again and was told the same thing that it was scheduled for delivery in Lubbock later that week. So I waited again. I called that Friday which was now January 14 and was told it was going to be a few more weeks. I was not happy by this time. So I went into the store on Jan 15 and spoke with a "General Manager" who after hearing my store got on the phone with the Lubbock office and was told that my table had arrived about 4 days previous and was just waiting to have delivery scheduled. So they set up a delivery date finally of January 19 and I was told they would call about 30 minutes prior to delivery. So finally Jan 19 comes around and I get a call around 9:45 am saying they were headed down my street and would be there in like 3 minutes. I told them I had to go into a meeting since I was expecting at least 30 mins notice. I asked if they could put me last on the list for that day. They said they only had 2 others after me and it would only be about 30 minutes. I told them that I would not be able to make and asked if they could reschedule for me. The guy said yeah we can bring it back tomorrow for you. So finally they said yes we will redeliver it tomorrow. Well they never showed up the following day. So I had to call Lubbock again and was told they could redeliver it on Friday the 21st. So WE FINALLY had our table delivered on Friday January 21st. BUT they forgot the leaf and said ohh well we can deliver it tomorrow to you. Ok fine. Well no one called or showed up. I have called Ashleys at least 5 times since then only to be told they show everything to have been delivered. I was told they were going to have to look into it and call me back. I was never called back. I finally had to call them back on February 3rd and I explained the situation again and after extensive research by one girl in Lubbock she found the leaf and asked if they could deliver it February 9th. i told the girl that I would not take time off work AGAIN and rather asked if they could just deliver the leaf to the Midland store and I would go pick it up. She told me that yes they would deliver it to the Midland store on February 11th and I could pick it up then. So i went to the store on the 11th and after waiting for more than 30 minutes I was finally told that they had no idea where my leaf was and that Lubbock was closed and that I was going to call or come back the next day. Well I called Lubbock on February 12th and was told they could not find my leaf and was going to have to research and call me back. I am leaving this comment on Saturday February 12 2011 (which is 92 days after we ordered it) and we STILL do not have our complete order. I will NEVER BUY FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN. We shall see if I ever get my leaf to our new table. I hope so. BUYERS BEWARE!!!

Let The Buyer Beware
I purchased a couch from them. When it was delivered it couldn't fit in the room so I just refused the delivery (which all reputable companies will allow you). I was later called and told there would be a thirty percent (30%) restocking fee or I will have to pay an additional $150 to break it down and reassemble in the room.
Since I had no choice I paid the additional $150 and was promised a delivery date and time. The time frame was between 12-4 pm. When they didn't show by then, I called and told it is an all day delivery time and they will get there when they get there, and if I :00 pm wanted to reschedule it would be another $150. They finally showed at 7:00 pm.
This is the shadiest company there is. My recommondation would be to never purchase anything from them and to tell all interested not to ever purchase anything from them.

customer service
I purchased a recliner on Jan. 16 2011. I was told it would be 3 to 4 weeks before the chair would be delivered to the store and that they would call me when it arrived. Five weeks later I called to see if my chair had arrived. The manager of the store told me that the chair had been discontinued and that they thought that I had accepted and picked up the floor model instead. But the floor model was still at the store. I was told that I would have to take the floor model which had no warranty. I said I did not want the floor model without a warranty and was told I would have to make another sellection. I said I did not want to make another sellection but if I took the floor model I would want it discounted below the price of the new one with a warranty. I told the manager (Derek) that no one had called me to tell me that the chair had been discontinued or that I would have to take the floor model. The manager laughed at me the whole time we were discussing the matter. I told him I did not find the matter particularly funny and he agreed but kept laughing at me. I was so upset that I could not continue the conversation with him. He refused to give me the name and contact information of his supervisor. He also refused to give me his last name. I still have no chair and they have had my money all this time. They want me to settle for the used chair with no warranty when I paid for a new one with a warranty. I have no recourse but to file these complaints.

Repair is a JOKE
I sat on my kids bed and it collapsed. My 3 year old really needs a place to sleep. Service said they would call us in 8 days. They didnt call. Keep in mind this is to set up an appt. It might take three weeks or months or whatever for my kid to get her bed back. RUN THE FCK AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY if you live in the Central Maryland area. They outsource their repair work and it is aweful. Get yourself a good pair of running shoes and run from Ashley Furniture! This place is a huge JOKE!

Paid for bedroom suit almost a month ago, still no delivery!
I purchased a new bedroom suit from Ashley Furniture almost a month ago. Sales lady told me since all furniture was in stock I would have delivery within a week. I received a call 2wks later asking to set up delivery day. It was cancelled 2x due to bad weather (understandable). The day before third delivery attempt was oging to be made I was called and told that part of bed did not make it to warehouse. They had 2 times to see this was the case. First when loading, another when unloading. I was told it could be several weeks before actual delivery would be made. Everytime I call to try and get something done I spend about 40mins on hold and get no where. No one knows what to do or who to talk to. Ashley Furniture has been a BIG mistake and is a huge unorganized mess. I will never exchange with them again!

Junk service
I bought furniture at Ashley in mesa Arizona on November 202010and paid cash and I'm still waiting for my sofa and cair The sent me my first sofa in the middle of DEC and It was ripped all across the bottom so I refused It the second sofa came in a couple of weeks later and it has nails sticking out the front and it is also ripped on the bottom .As i was not here when it was delivered they told my daughter that she had to accept it so she did. I have spoken to 3 different managers and have got the run around from all of them .I finally was out in contact with a Dominic Biscotti and he assured me that he would take care of the problem immediately so he ordered me a new sofa and chair which was to be delivered before the end of January and I'm still waiting .In the meantime MrBiscotti wont even take my calls or call me back .I tried to get a hold of the owner who happens to own 5 stores in this area and he also doesn't call back. I think its appalling how they do business here. You would think that the owner would want to know how his business is being run.

Worst customer service ever
They were quick to take our money, but failed to deliver the entire order. We had to wait 3 weeks and take a day off to accept delivery of the furniture. Theresa knew there was an issue with the delivery but didn't think it was necessary to inform the consumer that there was an issue. Took a day off work and now they want me to take another one? No customer focus at all. They do not want to accomodate the customer for an error on their end -- I have received 5 different stories regarding the whereabouts of the missing furniture, each time I call or appear I get a different answer. I don't thinkg the piece was orderd, it will be 6 week total of time from payment to supposed delivery of furniture. We could have had a custom order of higher quality in that time. SUPER BOWL PARTY? CANCELED! NO furniture. Gave away old furniture as most people do because you cannot fit both old and new in same room. These people do not care about the customer and do not want to do anything to compensate for their error.

Sold note to CTI who double charged
I purchased furniture from Ashley Furniture in Laredo, Texas more than a year ago. They advertised 48 monthly payments with no interest. They said could be automaticaly bank drafted. Why not? Seemed like no problem.
I thought I was dealing with Ashley. Then, surprisingly and unexpectedly, I got a bill from CTI with a charge exactly twice the amount of the purchase.
Numerous hours and phone calls to Ashley and CTI were required to get that straigtened out. At the end of twelve months I got a notice of a late fee even though CTI had access to my bank account.
Again much time and calling was required to get the late fee reversed. To avoid that they said I must call at the end of each year and instruct them to continue taking out the amount from my bank account.
I get mailings from CTI and from Western Union. Recently I got three different mailings from CTI with different information concerning the account?
I would simply pay off the balance, but dislike CTI getting the fee they made by purchasing the note from Ashley for nothing.
I just got a notice today from GE Money saying they have purchased my account. I am 75 years old, am comfortable and am not worried about credit rating. I wish there was some way I could get out of this honestly without paying a fee for something that CTI and GE have not done.
