junk furniture
I bought a living room set from them. Not even a month after delivery the throw pillows started fraying. The back cushions looked like I had the furniture for 20 years. They were filled with batting and whenever someone sits on the furniture the batting bunches. The seat cushions are another issue. I called Ashley because the seat cushions were fraying. Not one but all. They sent a repair rep. to my home. He took pictures and told me someone from Ashley's will contact me. No one ever did. I called they and was informed they will not repair or replace any of the cushions it was determined the frays were caused by someone wearing a belt buckle.
I asked them when did they EVER see anyone wearing a belt buckle on the rear-end.
I will never buy another product from Ashley and I tell everyone never to buy from them. They sell junk and do not back up their product.

The Worst Customer Service I have ever Seen
Ashley Furniture has the worst Customer Service I have ever dealt with. spent over $2000 on a Loveseat and 2 Recliners both electric. received in 9 days with the loveseat having a broke Motor. 20 days later still waiting for the part "I" have to install or they charge me $75 and it's not due in for another 15-20 days.. I will make sure NO ONE I know ever buys from them again, spoke to a manager and they are as clueless and un-helpful as the Janitor, wait the Janitor would probably be more helpful, I should have started there I guess..

Unbelievable
We bought a bed for my little boys birthday. They promised to take down the old bed when they put in the new one.After canceling twice, they showed up at 11:15PM and said they wouldn't take down the old bed.He then told me "sales people will tell you anything to sell furniture".My kids were asleep so I sent them on their way and said we would reschedule.After 12 midnight a knock on the door, the driver left his clipboard.I have a new name for Ashley Furniture.I call them "Ghetto Furniture"...If you are smart you will steer clear of this place.

Promised furniture in 4 weeks and now it's 8
I ordered $4000 worth of bedroom furniture that was promised in 2-4 weeks, now it is going to be 8 weeks! There is nohing they are willing to do to satisfy me or to let me cancel the order. I will never buy from Ashley again and I was planning on re-furnishing my whole house! We told our sales guy that we were getting rid of our current bedroom furniture for the new so it was very important that we have it in the 4 weeks and he said it would be. My fiancé and I are now sleeping on our mattress and boxsprings on the floor and there is nothing else in our room. Our clothes are in baskets because we made a promise to sell our bedset to someone and because we are people of our word, kept our word and Ashley has us sleeping on the floor because they don't keep their word. Absolutely ridiculous!

Poor quality and poor customer service
I recently purchased a dining set and a matress from Ashley Furniture. The matress is a national brand item and I had no problems with. The dining room set is manufactured by Ashleys and is of very poor quality. If you bought a service warranty from them, forget about it as they will just pass you from one phone number to another with no results. The bench that I got with the dining room table caves in the center and the table, once the leaf is put in, caves in the middle as it has poor support system. I took the bench apart and built slats under it and now it works find. The table, I would have to get some 2X4 and would be a weekend project. However, I would definity not recommend Ashley furniture as a source to buy from. Poor product and poor customer service. I would rather pay more and get something that is going to work right and last this the junk I got from them.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER
Worst customer service EVER ---
Salesman Todd Wolford took our money for 2 recliners and a Sofa,
Theresa Gull knew there was an issue with the delivery, however did not think it was important enough to share with me, the customer that took a day off to accept deliver. Sherry Ingram got into the web of lies after several phone calls by an very irritated customer. I recieved 5 different stories from 3 of them. We waited 3 weeks to get the furniture and will have to wait another 3 to get the missing piece and take another day off of work to cover their mistake. Theresa knew there was an issue but decided that the customer did not need to know. Despite the inconvenience of taking a day off for receipt - they do not see that it is necessary to accomodate the customer on their regularly scheduled days off. I will never repeat business with Ashley Furniture and will strongly discourage any purchases from my friends and colleagues. DO NOT PURCHASE FURNATURE FROM ANY OF THESE 3 PEOPLE or anyone at the REYNOLDSBURGH OHIO BRICE ROAD LOCATION _ note: I would attach a proof photo if I had MY FURNITURE!

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!I PURCHASE A LEATHER SECTIONAL WITH A OTTOMAN FOR OVER 2900.00 WITH A THREE YEAR WARRENTY!!! ONE MY LEATHER ISN'T LEATHER IT IS A SPRAY ON LEATHER LOOK!!! AND IT IS NOT LOOK LIKE IT IS 15 YEARS OLD AND IT IS ONLY 1.5 YEARS OLD. MY BROWN LEATHER IS NOW TURNING ORANGE ALL OVER IT. AND FOR THAT WARRENTY FORGET IT. THE WARRENTY DEPARTMENT BLAMES IT ON NORMAL WEAR. QUOTE FROM THE WARRENTY DEPARTMENT IN LESS THEN 6 HOURS AFTER I SENT THEM THE PICS." THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR SENDING IN YOUR PHOTOS. Horrible All Around
I purchased a new leather sofa and chair from Ashley. They delivered it and everything seemed to be ok. About 2 weeks after having it the leather looked like it was 4 years old. It was wrinkled beyond belief (I only weigh 165 pounds) and all the color was coming off.
So I called the store and they said they would send me some new cushions. But the new ones did the same thing. So I called back and told them that I just didn’t want the stuff anymore and they told me there was a 20% restocking fee.
I wasn’t about to pay that so I demanded to speak with a manager (who turned out to dodge my calls)
When I finally spoke with her (the manager) I told her that I would never buy from them again and I would make sure no one else did. She told me that it was my problem and there was nothing she would do to make it right.
Finally I went to the better business bureau and the response from Ashley was that I made the whole story but because they “have no record of this customer calling us”
NEVER BUY FROM THEM.

Terrible warranty and service
Sofa falling apart. Ashley furniture doing nothing about but run around. Talk good until get your $. Run away from this company. I bought extended "montage" warranty. They giving me the run around also. Anything to do to say it not their fault. Wanted me to wait to see if getting worse, then saying waited until warranty over. They have not returned phone calls just asking for help for phone numbers for someone who might help. Everytime call the people who were there before no longer work there. I think this is a terrible company. Tell all you know, Run Away From This Company. Do Not Spend Your Money There!!

Where is my merchandise?
I ordered den furniture from the Concord, CA store in November worth $2, 000, they cashed my check the very next day, only a few pieces were delivered in late December with the remaining two pieces "damaged". They said it would be delivered in early January. No follow-up from them. I have called two times since, left messages, and no one has returned my call. I wanted to order more furniture from Ashley, but will not now. I want my furniture NOW! Lousy customer service. Can see now what kind of store they are in reading all of these other complaints.
