Did not do a correct Patent search.Never finished, and paid over $1000.00 plus for a Trademark that I had to do myself. Paid for a Patent Search that was never done at all! Paid for many other services that can be listed below from a letter from a Law Firm. The Lawyers, and some info was removed as this a patent, and the info speaks for itself!
This letter is written on behalf of -----------------, who contracted with you for assistance with his
invention, ---------------, and another patent idea. Our office has been advised your contractual obligations have
not been performed in a satisfactory manner. Specifically, Mr. ---------- has advised us that he paid you $800.00
for work on the trademark and that work was never completed. Additionally, he paid you
$400.00 to do a patent search for another invention which was also not completed. You were also paid $1, 000.00
for the ----------, another $1, 000.00 to register the name with the United States Patent and Trademark Office,
and an additional $1, 000.00 to answer questions as ------------ company went through the mold-making process.
Mr. ------------- has made numerous attempts to contact you by telephone and e-mail but you have failed to
return any of his calls or e-mails. We therefore demand you remedy this situation without further delay and remit
payment for a full refund of the $3, 400.00 that was paid for work that has not been done and an additional
$400.00 for a portion of the cost of the trademark for which was never completed. Please tender
payment of $800.00 within seven (7) business days from receipt of this letter payable to ---------, c/o
-------------------------------------------------------, Post Office Box ----, ------------, STATE, ZIP . Mr.
-------------- is willing to give you up to sixty (60) days to pay the remaining $3, 000.00. In the alternative, if you wish
to work on getting an updated quote for the molds, complete all paperwork, and provide
copies of all documentation of any letters, e-mails, and all patent search files related to the ----------, please
contact Mr. ------------ to negotiate a reduction in the remaining $3, 000.00 balance.
Please respond in writing to advise how you intend to proceed with this matter. Please be advised that if
we do not receive a satisfactory written response within ten (10) days from the date of this letter, we will advise
Mr. --------------- as to the avenues available to protect his legal rights.
