I was contacted by Assured Asset Preservation earlier this week via my Craigslist post. After receiving Assured Asset Preservations contract and reading everyones postings all I can say is. WOW! How a company like Assured Assets has managed to stay in business or why their employer WSR Preservaion has not fired them is a mystery. I was already very skeptical after reviewing their contract, which as was posted previously has you sign away all you rights as a subcontractor, but after reading these posts Assured Asset Preservation really is the type of fly by night company that has so many of us contractors weary of property preservation work. Thank you to everyone that have posted on these forums warning us of Assured Asset Preservations ways, if not for you many of us could make the same mistake. I personally am going to take the advice of a previous contractor and contact Assured Asset Preservations employer, WSR Preservation, directly and cut out the middleman.

Working with Assured Asset Preservation is a complete waste of time. The pay is laughable, the requirements are absolutely ridiculous, and when it comes time to collect payment suddenly no one is around to answer the phone in their office.

I worked several properties for Assured Asset in the Palmdale area. Before giving the amount of properties that Robyn promised me, which was a complete lie, I had to sign a 15 page agreement which basically gave away all my rights and gave Assured Asset the ability to not pay me for whatever reason they saw fit. At first they had me driving to properties 20+ miles between each other just to take photos. I spent hours preparing bids, taking and organizing photos only to pass the property months later to see another crew repairing the properties. Not to mention the amount of gas I went through just to get to the homes. This went on for about a month when I started to request payment for the work I had completed. Rob assured me that payment would be in 30 days per the agreement, even though I was promised payment in 2 weeks. A month went by and no check, I called the office repeatedly only to be told another two weeks. This went on for over 2 months unti it was as I was told "You get paid when we get paid". It wasn't until i threatened to lean the property and contact their employer WSR Preservation that I received the small amount of money they owed minus of course the gas money I was to be given for driving all over the desert. BEWARE of this company.
