extended delay in getting credit card refund
I was called and pressured into accepting a travel package. When I called them and requested a refund was told I could get one but needed to send their travel package back immediately. This I did promptly the same day.
Unfortunately for me, I did not get my refund "promptly". It took 4 and a half months for me to get a refund and only after I contacted the Better Business Bureau in West Florida about this company.
Also, unfortunately for me the 4 and a half month delay cost me over $100 in exchange rate and credit card interest. When I complained about this I was told that they will give me in a travel package as compensation.
I doubt that I will get this package as they have never contacted me again, even though I contacted them and asked questions like what type of travel package, when could I travel on it, is it just for me or can someone else accompany me etc.
I would like to thank the BBB of West Florida for their help and tell others
(sorry about the shout) "HANG UP ON ASTAR" they are a rude, unreputible company.

worst company ever
Our flight from London Heathrow arrived at Orlando International Airport via JFK at around 9pm on the 24th of August and we headed for the Dollar counter with the rental car voucher provided by Astar. To my astonishment, Dollar had not heard of Astar and the voucher did not have any value attached to it on their system. As such they would not release a car and advised me to contact Astar and try again the next morning. As it was so late, the Astar offices were closed and we were due to drive to Fort Lauderdale which as you know is four hours away. We were all tired and the children were already asleep on the floor of the airport so I had no choice but to book my family into the nearby Hyatt Hotel at the cost of 100 dollars in order to return the next morning.
When I did return early on the morning of the 25th to try again I was again met with a representative who had not heard of Astar and when she imputed Astar into the system, the system did not recognise the name either. Another agent was called after about an hour who said that we should check the name All Seasons (a name which I had not heard of and a name which did not appear in any of our correspondence paperwork.) The name was recognised by their system but just when I thought we were getting somewhere, I was told that the voucher had no value attached to it, let alone for the 7 days we were promised and extra 2 days plus insurances that we had already paid Astar for.
I was advised that the only way I could obtain a car was to hire one independently myself and then contact Astar to see what had gone on. I did not think this was acceptable as the issue was the communication between Astar and Dollar. I had turned up with the voucher I had been given by Astar to hire the car from Dollar and did not anticipate any problems. But the fact that we had already lost a night of our ‘dream’ holiday and still had a four hour drive to contend with which would knock out the day as well led me to take the car on those terms with confidence that Astar would sort the problem out.
This was at an extra cost of 575 dollars, which I am still waiting to be refunded six weeeks later
I have had extensive contact with the company but the way All Seasons operate includes most of the signs of a scam setup: responsible persons are extremely hard to find, or have left the companydeals made via the phone proves to be invalid, impossible to get hold of the persons you made deals with, when new problems turn up you get put through to other people who cannot make decicions etc.
So, everything is very well orchestrated to prevent the customer from getting anywhere with their complaint. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with - Nick London

fraud
in mid of last murch was called from above com. and told that I won the competation and they congratulated me and transfered me severaltimes to other men. finally taken from me my detail bank card. first I refused to give the details but man says if I would not like that they send back and refund the credit. I recived one e mail after two weeks and tickets after four weeks. immedietly did conclation and sent them back. after sevral times calling I was told they refund it in 30 buisness days. but now 5 mounth has been paSSED and still waiting for refunding my credit. please help me that could save money which suffered for that.

WAS MISLEAD BY ASTAR TRAVEL AS IF THEY ARE OFFERING ME A HOLIDAY.ASKED FOR MY BANK DETAILS, REFUSED TO GIVE THEM MY BANK DETAILS.A PERSON NAMED STEVEN AND BRACK FROM ASTAR TRAVEL LIED TO ME THAT THEY WILL NOT TAKE MONEY FROMMY ACCOUNT AS LONG AS I DO NOT GIVE THEM THE SECURITY NUMBER AT THE BACK OF THE CARD.TO MY SURPRISE WITHIN A DAY $250, WAS TAKEN FROM MY ACCOUNT.RECEIVED THE PACKAGE, SENT IT BACK, ONE OF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE ADVISOR
ADMITTED THAT THEY RECEIVED THE PACKAGE.NOW I HAVE BEEN CALLING THEM ITS 6MONTHS AND THEY HAVE CHANGED THEIR STORY THAT THEY NEVER RECEIVED MY PACKAGE.

I supposedly won a discounted holiday for being the millionth person to log on to a website. I received the phone call from astar and they told me i had won a holiday for two to florida, fort lauderdale and the bahamas. the only thing they needed was my credit card details. After foolishly giving the details to them, my card was declined due to insufficient funds. one up on my half. I have phoned my banking service and asked them to decline any future transactions to this company. Since this phone call I have done some research and read that there is an uncopious amount of people being ripped off by this company. Surely there is something someone can do?????

RIPPED OFF
was phoned on January 2nd by a lady who called herself anita was very friendly and exited to inform me that i had won a holiday to orlando, she was very helpful, telling me the details of my stay and the inclusions of my holiday which at the time sounded legitimate, she then asked me my card details as the holiday would not be verified without them, stupidly i gave them over, she told me then that i had a small fee of $998 to pay and that this wasn't much for 4 people, she then told me that she had taken the money NOW which she did not mention at the time, i asked her why she had not mentioned this before and she said yes during the middle of this conversation i told you that i was taking the money now, i said that i had not agreed to this and she began to get angry and she snapped at me saying that i can pay them in monthly installments, alarm bells were ringing in my head but she told me that i could not stop the payment now, i was then put through to a man who confirmed everything but would not listen when i said that the payment made was unauthorised, he said to me happy new year and then hung up. I new that I had been scammed and looked the company up online, and sure enough they have a website with all the contact details that they had already given me, i looked further into the company and found this website and all my fears were then confirmed, i have definately been conned. I have phoned my bank and they said that the payment is pending and that it cannot be stopped but they may be able to retrieve it after the payment is made, but what are the chances of that happening. now i am left £700 short and feeling like a complete idiot! How can they get away with this?

Terrible service
We have read a lot of reports about what has been happening regarding this company and no now that we have been scammed to. April 2007, My wife and I was approached by phone from David Newberry and the usual sales talk happened about the vacation package etc... etc... Like everyone else it sounded to good to be true. The icing on the cake was that he told us the flights were included. We had him on intercom and asked him to repeat and so he did 2-3. My wife was their 1st point of contact through her email address and I tried to get info from them about this vacation through my own email address. Man it was like getting blood out of a stone, I couldn't understand why so hard when the package cost was deducted out of my personal visa card. At the time we could not find the ID (reservation no-) so I asked them to search by name. I gave them full details of both my wife and I to try track our package details. When we finally got the ID no- We rung and asked when our flight tickets would be sent to us, they said flights not included. My wife and I swore black and blue they said these were. We emailed them and said that we were told about flights being included, and asked for a refund, someone by the name of Joey replied saying that due to us purchasing the package in April 2007 we are unable to get a refund, and that this Joey had listened to the tape recording of our conversation from April 2007 and said no where in that particular phone were we told flights included. but can extend the deadline date and be happy to help us with that. I replied via his email and asked him to please elaborate more as to why no refund can be given and if we could have a copy of the recording or somehow listen to it also. To date we have been having trouble with our emails being read by them because they are getting delayed all of a sudden, Hmmm... wonder Y. The other day after many attempts and delays 1 email did come through and from joey only to say please contact customer service for further assistance. Well Hello!!! He suppose to be customer service or should we say that was in his email sent from box was.
