Hi... Happened me the very same thing I just read here. But as I French a guy, I asked for contract details fby Email prior to a0ything done, as probably some "contract" aspects were to be read futher 0(mostly "special clauses"'...). I received an Email telling me that I will receive a POST MAIL enveloppe with details, and was given a "confirmation code" to be used then...

Did you used their "confirmation code" prior they had the billiong charges done ??? If not such a case, it is fully ILLEGAL, and I am on the verge of having a colkgroup action done with official complaint. . . There is NO such thing as a fully engaged contact IF there is NO consentments on BOTH VERGES... I am mostly a lawyer, but also read that most peole had the impression they had won something... Even US native or fluent English speakers... So, I had no dream... If you had NOTHING called to us, but they just phoned you, IT IS HOPE ABOUT REFUNDS... I don't need anything or will call for anything but circumstances. I am NOT with ASTAR, but also prepare a BIG FORUM communication about their "methods"... Did they let you know what was written down in the so called "contract" ??? Or what the 5000$ worth was consisting in ??? NO ??? Here, a Brusssels/Miami and back travel is only 240 Euros... Roughly 350$... Plus hotel and leisure time... I know what some of them can be...

Clearly, it is a LAW ABUSE and ENFORCEMENT typical case. My complaint is routing to Brussels (EEC) just now, and in a couple days toward French authorities. When ASTAR phone calls someone, it is without any knowledge about what the guy is... You can Email me if interested in a FULL refund... Ever signed down THEIR contract ??? I can do anything anymore... But if you are kind of different, I can help...
