Holiday Pakage
I got a phone call on 6 Dec 2008 indicating that I had won a holiday package . This sounded very good at the time. However shortly after this happened I had second thoughts about this holiday mainly due to my wife's mental condition as well as the amount of medcation she has to take on a daily basis. She had a major stroke a few years ago and her condition is deterioting. I sent an email to them indicating that I wanted to cancel this holiday package. I got a reply back indicating that I could not cancel this package by email but had to do so by phone. I had a bit of dificulty getting hold of them by phone. After a number of attempts I got through to them only to get the message that they had closed for the christmas holidays. I evetually got to speak to someone in January and was told that I could not cancel unless I returned the package to them and was told that the deadline was the 22nd January. At this stage the holiday package had not arrived. The package eventualy arrived on the 17 th January. Due to the short time still available to return this package I had it sent to them via DHL courier service. The pakage was delivered to them on the 21 st January. I then tried in vain to get hold of them. I again sent an email to them indicating I wanted this cancelled and got the same reply that I could not cancel via email. Eventually on the 27 th Jan I managed to get hold of them. I was told that it was too late to cancel and that the holiday was mine and could not be cancelled and that they had sent the package back to me. There whole attatude is in my opinion disgusting and I would definately not reccomend anybody to them. I also fail to see any logical reason they could have for not being prepared to cancel the holiday package if they receive an email requesting this.
