On May2, 2011 I called AT&T to cancel my mother's long distance.
She is deceased but I still need the phone as I clean out her apt in NJ.
Today I tried making calls on my Queens, NY land line and couldn't
get any service. After calling and waiting 35 minutes I was told that I had to wait 3 days before in was reactivated and now had to pay a higher amount for my international calling plan. When I asked to speak with a supervisor I waited another 20 minutes and was disconnected. I tried calling back waited another 15 minutes and was told I still could not speak with a supervisor; for prompt service I was advised to leave a voice mail and the supervisor would call back within 15 minutes. That was 3 hours ago. I still need to have this error made by AT&T's corrected with the same long distance service on my home number activated and the long distance on my mother's (deceased) canceled. Very frustrating.
