We have been loyal customers of AT&T for years, but in Jan, Feb, Mar, and Apr of 2007 our service with Dish Network (which was bundled with AT&T) had many problems. 2 out of 3 of the boxes refused to work. After several attempts and failures to repair the equipment, we discontinued their service and called another company. Since we only had 1/3 service, I sent them 1/3 payment for those months. I FINALLY got them to remove the $300.00 for returned equipment, which left a balance of $242.00
Now AT&T has taken it upon themselves to harrass us for the monies in question. They say I owe it--- I say I don't. I shouldn't be forced to pay for service I didn't get!! Dish broke their contract, and I shouldn't have my phone service and DSL held hostage to Dish Network's ineptness. And that's what AT&T is doing. Threatning to turn off my phone and DSL.
TAKE MY ADVICE FOLKS STEER CLEAR OF AT&T AND THEIR DEALS, AND NEVER, NEVER HAVE SERVICES BUNDLED
