My initial problem with AT&T was when I was billed $120 for a modem and service that I never got to use! I payed it & canceled the service just because I didn't want to deal with the stress any more.
So recently I decide to give them one more chance since they are a little more affordable than their competitors. I made a huge mistake! They billed me for a modem or set up fee (not sure which since I got two different stories) when I never requested a modem and was told there would be no set up fees. I canceled the service call two days prior to them coming out and was supposed to be refunded. They told me it would take two weeks to get my money back! As a single mother on a fixed income I was appalled!
After two weeks I called back since I was still not refunded and got hung up twice and transferee four times befor being assisted! I was promised that a check would be mailed out to me asap. Let's see what happens.
I have also requested that a supervisor call me back and have to wait up to 48 hours!
AT&T you have the worst service I have ever has the displeasure to deal with!
