I have been receiving phone calls from someone telling me that it is urgent, that the warranty on my car has expired and I need to talk to them immediately. This has gone on for months, at all times of the day and night. On one of them, I spoke to a person and asked him what kind of car I have but he couldn't tell me unless I gave him the VIN number and the make and model of my car. This is obviously a scam and it doesn't seem to stop. I am disabled and have to go to bed early, but they don;t mind calling late at night. Is there any way to stop these people? I am on the Do Not Call list, but that doesn't mean anything apparently.
