I HAVE HAD HORRIBLE STATIC ON MY PHONE LINE FOR OVER A WEEK. I CALLED AT&T REPAIR SERVICE ON MONDAY AND WAS TOLD THEY WOULD TAKE CARE OF IT THAT DAY. TUESDAY, I STILL HAD STATIC ON THE LINE AND SOME AUTOMATIC RATING SYSTEM CALLS AND WANTS FEEDBACK. NEEDLESS TO SAY, THAY DID NOT GET POSITIVE FEEDBACK. I PHONED THE SERVICE LINE AGAIN AND THIS TIME THEY TELL ME IT WILL BE FIXED BY MARCH 25TH TODAY. THE PHONE STILL HAS HORRIBLE STATIC AND NOW THEY ARE TELLING ME IT WILL BE FIXED BY THE 28TH.
I PAY A FEE OF $6.00 FOR EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE AND $8.00 FOR INSIDE WIRE PROTECTION EVERY MONTH. THESE FEES ARE OPTIONAL, BUT DON'T YOU THINK THAT THIS WOULD PROVIDE YOU WITH SOME GUARANTEE OF GOOD SERVICE, AND IF NOT GOOD AT LEAST PROMPT.WHEN I PHONED AGIN THIS MORNING I WAS TOLD MY TICKET HASN'T COME UP YET AND YET AT&T HAS BEEN IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD ALL WEEK AND ON MY STREET TWICE THIS WEEK. I AM APPALLED BY THIS SERVICE AS WELL AS THERE E-MAIL SERVICE. MY EMAIL SERVICE WAS SUSPENDED AS WELL ON THE FIRST OF MARCH FOR ABUSE OF YAHOO (BELLSOUTH) TERMS. I HAVE NEVER ABUSED ANY TERMS AND WHEN I CONTACTED AT&T THEY TOLD ME SOME HACKED INTO MY E-MAIL AND DID SOMETHING THAT WAS NOT ALLOWED AND THAT IN ORDER TO GET THIS STAIGHTENED OUT I WOULD HAVE TO WRITE A LETTER TO YAHOO IN CALIFORNIA. I TOLD THEM THERE HAS TO BE A BETTER WAY TO CONTACT THEM OTHER THAN WRITING A LETTER THAT IS GOING TO TAKE 4 DAYS TO GET THERE AND WHO KNOWS HOW LONG TO RESPOND TO. I AM STILL WAITING FOR A RESPONSE FROM THEM. STOP PASSING THE BUCK! DEAL WITH PROBLEMS EXPONENTIALLY.
